The Study On Kidney-Protection And Mechanism Of Qizhi-Shenxiao Capsula Treating Experimental Diabetic Nephropathy

MaiDiShen-ShenXiao Capsula(MDSSXC) is effective in treating DN formed on the experience of my advisor and the theory of Chinese medicine. We pick the best medical herbs and the medical herbs interacts well in the formular. It has the function of tonifying Qi and Yin,warm Yang and nourish Kidney, dispel stasis and dissolve waste. To test the formular's function further we do this research. On the basis of reconstructing the animal modle of DN successfully, we do the pharmacodynamics experiment and the mechanism of this formula. The results shows: 1. MDSSXC can lower blood sugar ,TG, TC, Urine protein/24h, UAE,Urine β₂-MG, BUN and Scr and it's function is better than the west medicine in matched control except for blood sugar. Thus it can protect renal function. 2. MDSSXC can inhibit the thickening of GBM and ECM of model rat and lessen the impairment of glomerulus in pathology. 3. MDSSXC can lower Ang II and AT1, rise AT2 in glomerulus. So it can protect renal function in many ways. 4. MDSSXC can inhibit AGEsmRNA express in renal tissue. So it can prevent or cure DN at Molecule level.
