The effective fractions of Yishendaluo Prescription are found to have the effect of anti-vascular dementia. The dissertation is divided into five parts to study the material and mechanism of anti-vascular dementia of Yishendaluo Prescription.This paper includes five parts: summary of the related literatures, preparative technology of the effective fraction, research on the chemical constituents, establishment of the methods of quality control, discussion about the compatibility mechanism of Yishendaluo Prescription.The first part: summary of the related literaturesThe present situation and development about the chemical research on Chinese medicine prescription and the methods which were used to study the chemical constituents of Chinese medicine prescription were summarized. The significance and feasibility of the chemical research of Chinese medicine prescription in novel drug developments were discussed, 47 references are cited.Documents about the present research situation in the research progresses in the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of medicines which belong to Yishendaluo Prescription, 97 references are cited.The second part: studies on the preparative technology of the effective fractionThe extraction technology of Yishendaluo Prescription was established in First studies. The preparative technology of the effective fraction was studied for the first time. After investigating the adsorptive properties of five kinds of macroporous adsorbing resins, C macroporous adsorbing resin was selected owing to its reasonable properties of absorption and isolation of the total saponins, paeoniflorin and puerarin of Yishendaluo Prescription. The preparative technology was as follows: The drug of Yishendaluo Prescription was extracted by Q% alcohol for L times, each time B time of Q% alcohol and Y hour. Ethanol extract of Yishendaluo Prescription was dispersed with X2 time water, and solution of the extract was 55mg/mL.
