Establishment Of Peptic Ulcer(PU) With Spleen And Stomach Moist Heat(MH) Syndrome

Objective: Discussing to the law of onset of peptic ulcer(PU) with spleen and stomach moist heat (MH)syndrome , behavior of syndrome ,in order to make it standardize.Method: First, theoretical study were approached about the emergent of PU with spleen and stomach moist heat(MH)Second, we studied 108 patients data by clinical epidemiology inquisition of Traditional Chinese medicine. Third, 119 patients with PU were randomly divided into two groups, the treated group(n=65) received Clearing heat and Healing ulcer Mixtur(eCHHUM), the control group(n=54)received azulene. Changes of TCM syndrome effect, PU effect were observed before and after treatment .Forth, the therapeutical effect of CHHUM for the experimental spleen and stomach MM syndrome rats was observed, include the changes of the content of prostaglandinE2(PGE2),interleukin-8(IL-8).Results: Theoretical study shows: The feature and tendency of constitution with magnificent body and sputum(or MH) body of modern people are the internal agent of PU with the spleen and stomach MH Syndrome.Spleen and stomach MM is the main pathogenesis.Epidemiology inquisition of Traditional Chinese medicine discovered: spleen and stomach MH syndrome is the most type in PU; Incontinent drinking, dietary habit, pungent habit and obesity are the risk factors for; Direct correlation factors with PU with spleen and stomach MH syndrome. Include : incontinent drinking, dietary habit , habit and obesity; constitution of greasy type.;Also, under gastroscope ,the size and greasy covering of ulcer and mucosa with red and white accompanied by erosion; Helicobacter pylori(HP) ,fast detected by urase,. was also direct correlation factors with PU of spleen and stomach MMsyndrome.Clinical research shows: The whole TraditionalChinese medicine syndrome effective power of the group treated by traditional Chinese medicine is 89.23 %,which is markedly higher than the control group(66.67%),the contrast is significant (P<0.01);The whole effective power of ulcer curative group is 87.77%, which wan markedly higher than that of the control group (62.96%), the contrast is significant (P<0.01).Empirical study show: CHHUM is markedly effective in healing ulcer empirical rat with spleen and stomach MM; Also, CHHUM can improve the content of PGE existed in gastric mucosa, moreover the effect will be reinforced with the augment of the dosage provided; Further, CHHUM can degrade the content of IL-8 of the empirical rats and have dose-effect relationshipConclusions: With the improvement of living standard and the changes of life style, accompanied by the effect of environmental factor, spleen and stomach MH syndrome will increase gradually, and will become main type of PU.
