BackgroundsIt was a focus study on scars, especially pathological scars (hypertrophic scars and keloids), because of their serious harm to patients' bodies and spirits. Until now, though there are many treatments on scars, but we are also short of a rife and sure way to cure it.As one of the earliest neuropeptides was found, nerve growth factor is more and more important in much kind of inflammatory diseases except its import effect in neural diseases and nerve regenerations. And it was also affirmed in accelerating wounds' healing up. Scars formation and wounds' healing up are happen one after another and can't be separated. There are many experiments confirm that many neuropeptides, including NGF, are found in scars. However, in the process of the scar formation and fade away, there are few profound and consistent studies on the role and effect of NGF. MethodsOn the base of identify, increase of the recombination plasmid pcDNA4/HisMax-NGF, we use liposome to transfer the plasmid to human hypertrophic scar fibroblasts and rabbit's ear hypertrophic scars. In fibroblasts, we used MTT method, immunohistochemistric staining, situ hybridization histochemical staining, and real time RT-PCR. In rabbit's ear hypertrophic scars, we used hypertrophic index measurement, HE staining, Sirius red staining, histochemical staining, and real time...
