In the middle period of 1980s, the Berkman of the Soviet Union scholar discovered that besides the health and disease state there was an edge condition between the health and disease that named it the third state. It is poor health with no diagnosis of any identified disease, a condition known in China as "sub-health condition". Sub-health condition is marked by general weakness, bodily fatigue, low energy levels and a poor immune system and it has already been considered as the new killer of human health. It's one of the focuses of the medical field because of its high occurrence rate and seriously impacts the quality of working life. Sub-health condition is on the rise. Therefore, a great of the researches have been taken on the sub-health condition in China. But more of these studies only discuss on theory of sub-health condition.
