Renal cell carcinoma is the most common malignant tumor of renal parenchyma in urinary system. It's morbidity is higher year by year and thrights the health of human being. Because of the re-sensitivity of renal cell carcinoma to the radiotherapy and the chemotherapy, there is no better treatment on it in clinic except the operation.Genetherapy is one of the most important advance in medical biological field in 90 ages. It's main strategy is to block the expression of oncogene or to substitute, recover the function of tumor suppressor gene. BCL-2 gene was discovered firstly in 1984. It effects in the carcinogenesis and progression of tumor by resisting apoptosis and prolonging the life of cell. BCL-2 is higher expression in renal carcinoma and has more importance in the carcinogenesis and progression of renal cell carcinoma.
