Apoptosis and cell cycle regulation are of great significance in pathogene-sis of tumor. The study of apoptosis and cell cycle regulation brings a new way for overcoming the tumor.The molecular mechanisms of apoptosis and the relationship between cell cycle and apoptosis,however, are not clearly understood up to now. Therefore, the research in this field has aroused general interest at present.Hepatocelhilar carcinoma is one of the common malignant neoplasms in our country, the research on which has long been one of our department's tasks.Based on the previous research results, this research is intended to make further study of the effect of the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor-p21]on the malignant phenotype and apoptosis of human hepatocelhilar carcinoma cells, and to gain a priliminary insight into interactions between p53 and p21WAF1/CIP1 during apoptosis and cell cycle regulation in the hepatocellular carcinoma cells.The main contents and results of this study are as follows:...
