Objective: SQEBS(Supplementing Qi and Eliminating blood stasis) is a effective therapeutic principle in traditional Chinese medicine which uses in cerebral infarction. Promote angiogenesis through the therapeutic method. In recent years, SQEBS have been used in the therapy of some ischemic diseases, such as occlusion of a peripheral blood vessel and myocardial ischemic, and have a good effect on them. And also it's one of main research ways in cerebral infarction. To reveal the action of SQ(Supplementing Qi) and EBS (eliminating blood statis) in SQEBS for further guidance of clinic, on the basis of the study of SQEBS. in this paper we observed the influence of relevant soup to vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) of penumbra of the model rats' brain, and had a comparative study between SQ and EBS about angiogenesis, both on molecule and cell level.Methods:1. The theoretical research adopts bibliographic retrieval method, and combines the experience of clinic practice.2. The rats were divided into six groups randomly: normal group, sham operation group, model group, SQEBS group, SQ group and EBS group. The model was made by the method of middle cerebral artery occlusion. The rats of every therapeutic group were all given the relevant soup through PO, and others were given isodose physiological saline. On post operation days fifteen, the brain tissue samples were taken, which was used to assay the expression of VEGF mRNA in the samples with RT-PCR method; and VEGF protein and the microvascular density(MVD) of...
