pre-eclampsia(PE) is a particular disease in gestation and patients have symtoms like hypertension, edema and albuminuria, which is the leading cause of both fetal and maternal morbidity and mortality. A key feature of pre-eclampsia is shallow cytotrophoblast invasion into the myomtrial portions of the spiral arteries. Immunologic abnormities in placenta play an important role in the pathologic change. Studies show patienst have immunologic disorders similar to acute implant rejection while the clinical disorders disappeared immediately after delivery, which suggests that the effection of placenta is very important in the pathogenesis of pre-eclampsia.
