Ischemia stroke is a clinical frequent disease and common disease, with high mortality and high disability. The study on neuronal injury following cerebral ischemia is the main part of pathological mechanism's study, therefore, to search protertive drugs for cerebral ischemia neuronal injury is a hotspot in this domain. Based on long-term clinical experience, Professor Zang kuntang has developed a experience prescription WuLongDan to treat ischemia stroke which acquires a good curative effect. Our study carried out thought theoretical discussion, experimental study and clinical experience summary, with the objective to explore the protective effects and mechanisms of WuLongDan on neuronal injury in rat focal cerebral ischemia model, and hoping the result will help deeply study on ischemia prevention and treatment for the future. This paper consists of three aspects, that is: theoretical discuss on neuronal injury after cerebral ischemia, experimental study on protective effects and mechanisms of WuLongDan on neuronal injury in rat focal cerebral ischemia model and sum-up Professor Zang kuntang' academic thought and clinical experiences.Part I Theory Research...
