Objective There was a series of secondary pathological changesafter brain injury, which cause the brain micro-vessels changes, micro-circulation disorder, the secondary changes of ischemic brain tissue and brain metabolism to aggravate the brain edema. Inflammation is one of early changes after trauma and cerebral micro-circulation disorder is the important role in the course. P-selectin (α-granule membrane protein-140, GMP-140) is one of special indexes represent activation and release of platelet, which explain the activation of platelet and thrombosis; ICAM-1 (intercellular adhesion molecule-1) is one of Inflammation mediators, which explain the damage of endothelial cell and leukocyte; EGB(Extract of Ginkgo biloba, EGB) is the Extract from the Ginkgo biloba; the experiment to explore the possible relationship between secondary damage and expression of P-selectin and ICAM-1, to investigate the molecular mechanism of brain edama after injury and influence of EGB after brain injury and to provide the theoretical basis of clinical management.Methods The acute brain injury was set up in rats according...
