A Study On The Scope And Internal Differences Of The Texts Of Jin

The main purpose of this paper is to define the category of Jin-style character and to observe the internal diversity of Jin-style character.In the first part, by summarizing the features, characteristics and usages of Jin-style character, the author distinct Jin-style characters from other character styles, such as Qin-style, Chu-style, etc. Besides, by comparing Zhongshan character and Liangzhou character to the other character styles, we can find their pedigree relationships with Jin-style character. In this section, the category of Jin-style character has been defined, and the issues on Zheng character and Wei character have also been investigated. In the second part, by examing all the existing raw materials and reseach studies on Jin-style character, the author found several reference objects for classification, for instance, the proper noun appeared in the material indicating individuals, locations, or job titles, the grammatical features, the semblances of materials, distinctive characters appeared in the material, and the location material has been unearthed, etc. In this part a classification of all the Jin-style materials has also been made, adopting some of the author’s personal opinions. In the end of this section the internal diversity of Jin-style character has been carefully analyzed.In the third part, the author has made some comments on chapters containing Jin-style characters of the newly published Qinhuajian.
