“Book of Songs” Zheng, Wei poems is the local poems of Wei and Zhengground in the Western Zhou Dynasty and the Spring and Autumn Period. Theydocumented the life and thought of the people of the Central Plains region at that time,reflected the customs, cultural, historical and geographical features of the Pre-QinDynasty in the birthplace of the Chinese nation. Modern research on the “Book ofSongs” Zheng, Wei poems is not enough systematic and comprehensive. This paperuses methods of Historical Geography, has research and analysis on the "Book ofSongs" Zheng, Wei poems, combining with existing research results.This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter discusses the area “Bookof Songs” Zheng, Wei poems produced, and the relationship between poetry andclimate, geography. Zheng, Wei poems produced in the Zheng and Wei countries inZhou Dynasty. Wei was divided into Bei, Yong and Wei three parts. After “Rebellionof the Three Guards”,three parts was in one place,"Book of Songs" is still holdingthe “Bei”,“Yong” and “Wei” three parts. Therefore it is necessary to discriminate thehistorical events of the Three Controllers. This paper argues that the Three Controllerswith Shang old family rebelled because of Guanshu, Caishu discontenting Zhougong’smanagement of state, and the strong resistance of Shang old family. The "threecontrollers” includes Guanshu, Caishu and Wugeng. In terms of the three places incenter of Chaoge, Bei is in north, Yong is in south, Wei is in east.In terms of the relationship between geography, climate and poetry, poemsproduced in different climatic periods. Zheng poems were mainly produced in thewarm Spring and Autumn Period. Wei poems were mainly produced in the cold lateWestern Zhou. This paper argues that cold and dry weather is a major cause ofbringing about sad mood in Wei poems. Warm and humid climate combined withmountains and geographical factors makes Zheng poems show romantic, free andcheerful. Geography influences the poems, poems also reflect the geographicalsituation. Different physical geographies make the difference of literary landscapes, cause lifestyle and cultural differences in Wei and Qin poems. Zheng poems reflectthe topographical features of the terrain, status of rivers and trees and vegetationdistribution in Zheng of Spring and Autumn Period.The second chapter discusses the local customs and culture in "Book of Songs"Zheng, Wei poems. Zheng, Wei poems show the profound regional customs andculture. In terms of marriage customs, traditional mulberry trees worship gathering ofmen and women together comes from ancient mutual worldview in Wei. Watersideritual combined with the freedom social atmosphere formed a unique marriagecultural in Zheng. Zheng, Wei poems exhibit warlike thinking. The thinking rootShang Culture in Wei, also relate with times environment, geography and ilitantideology of monarch in Zheng. Aesthetic hobbies include big things, white colors,jade and drinking in Zheng Wei poems. Liking big things affected by Dongyi Culture.Liking white colors affected by Shang Culture. Liking jade affected by pop culture inZhou. Wei poems not only reflect the customs and culture, but also the contradictionbetween Shang and Zhou cultures,especially in satire prurience pomes and violateritual poems.The third chapter studies theme by category of Zheng, Wei poems, and objectiveanalysis the theme.“Beifeng” includes marriage love poems, political poems andsatire poems.“Yongfeng” includes satire poems, praise poems, marriage love poemsand sad poems.“Weifeng” includes satire poems, praise poems, war poems, marriagelove poems and sad poems.“Zhengfeng” includes marriage love poems, noble praisepoems, satire poems and sing poems. Part poems’ themes are elucidated innovatively.This chapter Comprehensive generalizes feature, and probes the theme style of Zheng,Wei poems.The forth chapter discusses Zheng, Wei Music and sorting of Wei poems. Thisarticle generalizes seven music features according to the rhythm, skills and otheraspects of Zheng, Wei Music. The Music origins Xia Shang music and dance, throughShang infancy, geographical formation stage, boom stage and prosperity spread stage,become representative of folk popular music. Zheng, Wei Music break the norm, easilyresult in thought freedom and threaten stability of Zhou. This paper argues that “Bei”,”Yong”,”Wei” are divided according to the music tune, and sorted accordingto their relationship with Zhou courtesy. This is decided by historiographers andmusic officials who compile and edit "Book of Songs".The fifth chapter discusses themes and artistic style of Zheng, Wei poems. Thereare three aspects in Zheng poems. Firstly, there are a larger proportion of marital lovepoems in Zheng. The poems are Natural, relaxed and joy, not only are free to courtesy,but also have no wild expression. Secondly, there are new features of sentencestructure and the use of auxiliary in Zheng. The structures appear prose like, narrativecharacteristics compared with other wind poems. There are many auxiliary, andmajority of it is modal particle. Thirdly, Zheng poems’ emotional tone are freedom,cheerful, relaxed. There are three aspects in themes and artistic style of Wei poems.Firstly, aristocratic lives ate multi-faceted comprehensive shown. Secondly, people aredescribed detailed, precise and appropriate. The descriptions are the best of "Book ofSongs". Thirdly, the emotional tone is sadness. There are a large proportion of gloomyfeeling poems in Zheng poems.The sixth chapter is a case study about “Beifeng Jianxi” and “YongfengSangzhong”. This chapter discusses the lasted topics, examines the representativeexplanations of different historical stages, summarizes typical views of scholars, andexplores the academic style in different historical periods. The opinions of themes on“Beifeng Jianxi” include “Social function” in Tang Dynasty and before,“Self-deprecating” in Song Dynasty,“Self-pity” and “Self-blame” in Qing Dynasty,“the love poems” in modern. The opinions of themes on”Yongfeng Sangzhong”include “satire love” on literary functions,“kinky poems” on Confucian,“the lovepoems” and “original custom”.
