A Study On The Creation Of Shanghai 's Urban Historical Theme Oil Painting

In the 20 th century, Shanghai is an indispensable window which introduces the foreign cultures,and is a cradle where Chinese oil painting movements originated. Over the past century, along with the city development,Shanghai produced a kind of unique art works which is “the oil paintings of Shanghai city historical themes”. It is the epitome of the city civilization of Shanghai and is the important manifestation of Shanghai historical context and the Shanghai style culture.
