The Current Situation And Significance Of The Development Of Historical Oil Paintings In Contemporary China

The first part of the article The Development and Significance of Historical Subject Oil Paintingin Contemporary China begins with the analysis of realistic painting's thoughts and artisticlanguage by taking French realistic painting as an example.After a brief introduction of thehistorical background of the Realism in French,I used the artists Gustave Courbet andJean-Francois Millet as examples to exploring and analyzing the artistic ideas and techniques ofrealism.I took the example of Xu Beihong,an artist studying in France,as an example to analyzethe influence of Realism on the development of Chinese fine arts.The second part of the master's thesis is to analyzing the development of realism painting inChina.From the rise of revolutionary historical paintings in China,the influence of Socialistrealism on China,and the development of realistic painting in China's development,the threeaspects are analyzed and discussed.The development of the realism movement in China involvesthree aspects:realism in local art,realism in scar art,and realism in college.The third part of the thesis is the analysis of historical paintings and discussion of its significance.Analyze from four perspectives:creation of historical subjects respecting historical viewpoints,the artistic creation of combining bright self-thought,self-historical view and group's historicalvalue,publicity historical theme oil painting creation,and oil paintings of historical themescreated by special techniques.The last part is the discussion from the aspects of national memory,the development of historical themes and models,and how to create new situations.
