The first chapter of this dissertation analyzes the "Time Space Causes and Conditions" in the Leyu Tang Quotation, among this mainly reviews the author’s Daoism experience and the thought background emerging from this work. The author’s Daoism experience includes the analysis and the introduction of Huang Yuanji’s life and work; thought background includes Neidan sect and I Jing development, discussing the deep influence that these thoughts had on Huang Yuanji’s thought.The second chapter explores the ideology of "Self-Cultivation" and "Primordial Spirit in charge" in the Leyu Tang Quotation, in particular the effects and the methods of "Self-Cultivation" in building the Dan. In the analysis of the "Self-Cultivation" effects in building the Dan, explanations are given from three aspects:"Self-Cultivation" it’s indispensable for the base of practice; "Self-Cultivation" have the effect of "collect the Spirit retreat to listen, Primordial Spirit in charge"; "Self-Cultivation" is an effective method to eliminate evil and to remove obstacles. In the "Self-Cultivation" method to build the Dan are explained three aspects of the content:let things go, accumulate good action and virtuous qualities and clarify.In the Third chapter are explained the "the one Qi of Prior to heaven" and "obey to be ordinary, fight to be Immortal" thoughts in the Leyu Tang Quotation. The "the one Qi of Prior to heaven" is discussed in four aspects:"the one Qi" in relation of Daoist thought, "the one Qi of Prior to heaven" is the basis of bond the embryo and become Immortal, "the one Qi of Posterior to heaven" is the key of human body healthy, the connections of "One Qi" between Prior to heaven and Posterior to heaven. "obey to be ordinary, fight to be Immortal" is explained from three aspects:the origin of its though, the thoughts of Jing, Qi and Shen in the Anterior and Posterior to heaven, and the thought of "Posterior to heaven returning to Prior to heaven".The Fourth chapter explores the "the way of Yang birth" and "the life time?" thoughts in the Leyu Tang Quotation, exploring the origin and the connotation of "the way of Yang birth"; analyzing the thought of "the way of Yang birth", including the relations among the "the way of Yang birth" and "the life time?", the "one pure spiritual activity", "liaozhaoxin", "real intention", "no time no space no change?", the Power of the Dao etc.The Five chapter explores the "Renew original nature arise vital force" and the "xu shi dong jing" thoughts in the Leyu Tang Quotation. the " Renew original nature arise vital force" is explained from three aspects:the question of Xing and Ming in the Neidan, the exploration of Neidan on Xing Ming Anterior and Posterior, the " Renew original nature arise vital force" thought in the Leyu Tang Quotation, "xu shi dong jing" is explained from two aspects:tracing its ideological source and its thought in the Leyu Tang Quotation.The Six chapter elucidates the characteristics of the Neidan thought in the Leyu Tang Quotation, the spirit of "the convergence of three religions" Confucianism, Buddhism and Daoism, including references to content such as Laozi, Zhuangzi, Yixue, Buddhism, Confucianism etc. "Xuanguanyiqiao" thought, including its origin, its connotation in the Leyu Tang Quotation; the sense of "Self-Cultivation", including be disillusioned with the mortal world, let go all the conventions, free and unfettered; the propaganda of "reasonable opportunity", Huang Yuanji explained the implications of Neidan with the help of question and answer form between teacher and pupil, so the characteristic of its thought is "reasonable opportunity".
