A Study On The Basic Values ​​of Socialism With Chinese Characteristics

The eighteenth national congress of the communist party of China has put forward "three promotion" as the basic content of core socialist values, and came up with the strategic task of "actively cultivating and practicing the socialist core values".This is a major strategic deployment made by the communist party of China with an eye to the new features and new situation of international and domestic development and change of ideology and culture,, it has great significance to consolidate the common ideological basis of the united struggle of the Chinese people of all ethnic groups, and enhance China’s cultural soft power.On the public propaganda, we must strictly stick to "three advocated" as the basic content of "socialist core values", actively implement the CPC central committee decision so as to obtain actual effect.In theory, we should be carried a more in-depth research on the socialist core values.Although the "socialist core values" we call at present refers to the core values of contemporary China, but in the actual significance, the "socialist core values" means the core values all socialist countries should stick to, and it is the essence difference between different social systems, and it is the general and special relationship with the core values of contemporary China. In order to ensure the rigor and normative of academic research, the values of the contemporary China is called "the basic values of socialism with Chinese characteristics" in this paper.The first chapter mainly elaborates the nature of the basic values of socialism with Chinese characteristics.This chapter firstly believes that on the basis of marxist value philosophy, there is a inner link but obvious differenceon between value, the value idea, the values by combing Chinese and western value philosophy’s views on the nature of the value,so they can’t be equated with each other and it is recommended to use the "values idea". After expounding the value connotation, structure and influence factors of the value idea, we further illustrates the nature of the core values, and expounds the connotation of the socialist core values in the actual significance. Finally, the chapter discusses the cause the values of contemporary China is called "the basic values of socialism with Chinese characteristics",and analyzes the nature and influencing factors of the basic values of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The second chapter mainly introduces the thoughts origin of the basic values of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The basic values of socialism with Chinese characteristics is inseparable from the value ideal of the marxist classical writers about the future society, traditional Chinese culture values and the modem western culture values in the thought resource.This chapter firstly introduces the value goals of the utopian socialist and Marx and Engels about the future society, and then describes the present situation, the basic content and the main features of the traditional Chinese cultural values and the modem western culture values. This chapter aims to overall grasp the culture trait of marxist value ideal, traditional Chinese cultural values and the modem western culture values, and provides guidance and reference for the basic values of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The third chapter mainly discusses the main content of the basic values of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The chapter firstly chronologically introduces the practical basis of the basic values of socialism with Chinese characteristics,that is the contemporary Chinese social development achievements and challenges, and then illustrates the basic content of socialist core values is people’s free all-round development and social justice on the value ideal of marxist classical writers. On the requirement reflecting essence of the socialist system and based on the contemporary Chinese social reality and reflecting the real value pursuit of people,and inheriting Chinese excellent traditional culture and absorbing world civilization beneficial result, the basic values of socialism with Chinese characteristics can be summarized as "humanism, justice, prosperity, democracy, tolerance, harmony".The fourth chapter mainly illustrates the significance of the basic values of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It is manifesting the essential requirement of the socialist system and based on the contemporary China’s basic national conditions, and reflects the value ideal of communism and people reality demand, and absorbs beneficial cultural achievements and conforms to the development trend of human society, therefore, researching on the basic values of socialism with Chinese characteristics has vital significance to contemporary China. It provides the basic value for contemporary China’s socialist modernization construction, and is the current main fulcrum for the construction of Chinese socialist ideology, but also is the important focus of our country’s cultural soft power.
