Listening is a word with rich connotations which is formatted by the human auditory organ——ears’ physiological functions.Listening is close to the teaching, and it has multiple dimensions and a variety of forms.There are two causes for the research on the listening of teaching. Thinking from the internal part, listening is significant and it has great value in the teaching, but its neglect and misunderstanding in the practice.Thinking from the outside part, some causes such as understanding of the actual teaching, deepening the process of listening, some researche results coming from multidisciplinary spawn the possibility of the research on the listening. This research attempts to construct a listening classroom teaching based on the clearing it’s rich connotation, various dimensions and reality of listening.If we do so, we can not only enrich teaching theory research, strengthen the teaching practice, but also commutate theory and practice, so the classroom can be one part of teachers and students’ meaningful part, and promote the curriculum reform’s development.This research follows the logic of "what-why-how" and it consists of three parts.The first part is the question of "what is listening", including the first chapter about "listening:a word with rich implication" and the second chapter about "listening in the teaching:implication, nature and aesthetic". It attempts to solve the question of "what" based on thinking the rich connotations of listening from multi-disciplinary perspective and explains the connotation, nature and aesthetic of listening in the teaching. Through the study we found that listening is a word with rich implications. Physiology investigation shows that listening is a kind of complex thinking activity; Sociology study shows that listening is an important way in the interpersonal communication, and it contains positive attitudes such as the caring and understanding; Philosophy investigation shows that listening has survival means, co-exist and moral character. While listening of teaching is one kind of communication and interaction that teachers and students listen to each other carefully in order to achieve the knowledge, thoughts、life、emotion based on mutual respect, equality in the teaching process (activities).Listening in the teaching has such properties as purpose and instrument coexistence、truth and goodness coexistence、 intellectual and emotional accompanied、creative and aesthetic accompanied. When we explain it from aesthetic perspective, we find that its beauty shows rational exploration and training, the harmonious coexistence of relationship between teachers and students, the meeting of spirits and the lives’ caring and growing and so on. This kind of beauty is comprehensive three levels of teaching beauty such as means, purpose, state of the aesthetic, and it reaches the kernel of teaching beauty, embodies the inherent nature of the teaching beauty.The second part is to analysis two dimensions and subject dimension analysis of listening in the teaching, including the third chapter "two dimensions’ analysis" and the fourth chapter "the subject analysis", and it attempts to reveal the value of listening and the causes、roles and demands of teachers and students being listener and the change of the relationship between each other, etc. It wants to solve the problem of "why". Through the study we find that the value of listening is to let "I-you" meet together, and embodies the form of teaching purpose; listening’s rational value is to create triple relationships and it’s a kind of teaching practice wisdom. There are some causes that make the teachers being listener such as the teaching’s certain demand, the embodiment of the students’power and the need of teacher professional development so on.Confucius and Socrates are good listeners who has strong ability of listening, their listening performanted in many aspects, and we need to learn some good aspects.Teachers as listeners means that their work have changed from telling knowledge to researching and reflection, from the bystander of knowledge to the helper of constructing students’ experience, from the technology agents to practice wisdom’s owner. Students as listeners have certain possibility and inevitability, It’s goal is to become a good listener with virtue and creative, students as listener means that they have changed from "empty container" to own different experience, from the experience owners to construct experience. The relationship between teachers’and the students’listening embody the teaching logic.The third part is "coming to the listening classroom", including the fifth chapter "the present situation of listening" and the sixth chapter "constructing listening classroom teaching". It attempts to make the listening’s rich connotations and value into real classroom, and it wants to solve the problem of "how". Investigated from the perspective of level, subject and the two dimensionas of listening, we find that there are five listening levels, four listening patteners, and it’s not satisfied with character and logical. Therefore, we need to teach on the listening, in the listening, by the listening. The listening classroom’s atmosphere is moist, its pattern is multilateral-multivariate’s mutual listening, its external show is the speaker position’s vacancy, its essence is the forming of learning community. Eleanor Duckworth’s listening in the teaching, Manabu Sato’s listening in the teaching, Reggio’s listening in the teaching are some real existences in practice. From the subject’s practice perspective, the process is about having initiation consciousness before listening, paying attention to the listening skills and emotions in listening, regulating response with wisdom after listening. On the way to the listening classroom, there are some difficulties coming from subject, teaching system, discourse environment of classroom. Therefore, we should make some strategies such as improving the listening subject’s quality, establishing a loose teaching system, creating the ideal environment and so on to reach the listening classroom.
