Scholars examination of antecedents in organizations revealed that destructive leadership behaviors of managers have a strong influence on their employees behaviors due to their physical and psychological proximity to employees and their ability to administer rewards and punishments as well as performance ratings. Drawing from the destructive leadership, social learning, and empirical evidence, this study examined the impact of how destructive leadership differentially affect (that is, promote or inhibit) the occurrence of subordinate behavior mechanism via loyalty, voice behavior, neglect and turnover in the context of business enterprises in Hanoi, Vietnam. Furthermore, this relationship is hypothesized to be mediated by subordinate employees perceptions regarding organizational justice and psychological contract violation in the enterprises.Data collected from270employees and statistically analyzed using statistical product and service solutions (SPSS) software provided support for the hypothesized relationships. Results showed that destructive leadership behavior is an important antecedent of workplace loyalty, voice behavior, neglect, turnover and job satisfaction which provides a strategic focus that enables organizations to effectively guide managers behavior to create a civil work environment. Therefore, organizations should be aware of the salience of managers as role model in setting the tone for constructive leadeship behavior among employees as well as working environment. This, in turn, will relate to positive employee attitudes and behaviors, reducing dissatisfaction and voluntary turnover rates in enterprises.
