| Economic globalization and industry shift makes the air transport industry play an unprecedented important role ever in the world’s regional economic development. Relying on major airports, especially international hub airports, through serving the aviation industry and other aviation related point of industrial agglomeration, regional economies formed fast, efficient and convenient airport economy. Airport economic development is accompanied by its airport passenger and cargo traffic increase and growth. And its influence expands around the geographic areas and radiated through economic space, in order to accelerate the regional logistics flow, capital flow and information flow.Air Logistics Parks are relying on aviation airport, especially regional hub airports. Taking air cargo as the major way for transport which integrates transport, storage, handling, distribution and processing as a whole, they are specific logistics clusters with this special port function. The development of regional hub airports promotes the aviation logistics development, and then forms aviation logistics parks and airport economic zone. However, in the era of rapid development of airport economy, airport economic agglomeration and clusters development inevitably needs higher requirements for the development of airport logistics parks. From perspective for development of airport economic zone industry, the function, space layout, construction, organization and operation are all supposed to be paid attention. This research focused on this theme above, which is also the theoretical and practical significance of this study.Generally, this study reviewed literature of theoretical and empirical research, and summarized the deficiencies and achievement of existing research in order to provide an entry point and theoretical basis needed by further discussion of this issue and to establish the basic conceptual framework of this study and research model. In the case study, taking Tianjin Binhai New Area as the background, Tianjin International Airport Aviation Logistics Park was selected. Aviation economics, industrial cluster theory, the logistics park planning theories were used in course of research.Firstly, this study analyzed relationship among regional economy, regional logistics, regional logistics parks, and then made further research on the conditions, modes, power and mechanisms of regional aviation Logistics Park, based on its features and functions.Secondly, interaction mechanism between airport economy and regional aviation logistics park was studied, which included interaction between the airport and airport economic research, mutually reinforcing relationship between aviation logistics park and airport, division functions of regional aviation logistics park, analysis for regional aviation logistics park role in promoting the airport economic and airport, impact of aviation logistics clearance mode to the regional aviation logistics parks.Thirdly, air logistics park construction based on airport economy was discussed, which included overall function and spatial layout of regional aviation airport logistics parks, China’s and international air logistics park construction mode, regional aviation logistics park construction mode based on airport economy.Fourth, the operations management mode of regional aviation logistics parks based on airport economy was explored, which includes air logistics park operation and management mode of china’s and international ones, operation and management mode of regional aviation logistics park, study of profit model for regional aviation logistics parks.In the last part, Tianjin Binhai New Area aviation Logistics Park was selected for case study. Through the status of Tianjin Binhai New Area industry, logistics development, this research analyzed functions of Tianjin Airport Aviation Logistics Park with its strategic positioning and also its development plan, construction mode and operation administration mode.
