Research On Comparison Of Chinese, American And Japanese Sports Insurance

Sport was full of charm, but also full of risk. The risk was inevitable in competitive sports, social sports and school sports. Sports risks need to be controlled and managed. And sports insurance was the best scientific and effective way. Sports insurance was still at the initial stage in China. Therefore, the study of sports insurance had important significance. Sports risk theory and sports insurance was the basis of the study. Development of sports insurance in the United States and Japan were the best in the world. Their experience could provide a reference for the development of Chinese sport insurance. There were many ways to classify the sports insurance. In this study, it was classified as non-profit sports insurance and for-profit sports insurance. We compared the sports insurance-related policy and legislation, sports insurance regulatory system of the three countries. Then the non-profit sports insurance and for-profit sports insurance were also compared. The sports insurance in United States and Japan had some similar characteristics. Their legal system and regulatory system were sound. Their operation mechanism was marketization. Their business was diversified. Their insurance content was thoughtful and detailed. In conclusion, this development of sports insurance in these two countries could give us many implications. Finally, this paper presented problems and causes of Chinese sports insurance development. And then the corresponding countermeasures were put forward based on situation of our country.
