With the acceleration of global economic integration and the rapid development of information network technology, abundant knowledge resources and convenient interactive platform are generated to support people’decision making activities. The internetization and collaboration of decision making activities become an important trend in the evolution of organizations. Although organizations’decision support abilities are constantly improved in network environment, there still exist the situations that decision making requirements are difficult to be satisfied in the decision making activities of organizations. Concretely, the situations include the following aspects.①The environment of decision making becomes more complex. Decision makers are influenced by more and more uncertain information. It is difficult for them to provide decision making alternatives exactly using their knowledge and experiences.②In the process of decision making, there often exist contradiction and conflict among decision makers. Thus, it is difficult to form consensus.③In the process of decision making, it is necessary for decision makers to obtain the timely and exact knowledge support. Due to the limitation of abilities on knowledge acquisition and knowledge service, decision makers’knowledge requirements are not satisfied. In summary, decision making activities of organizations in network environment is not traditional decision making with independence but is a collaborative decision making based on the interaction and communication among decision makers. In the process of collaborative decision making, the key to improve the performance of decision making is that group members can duly and effectively apply knowledge of various disciplines. A collaborative decision support platform can provide effective support for collaborative decision making in information process, model analysis, and knowledge utilization. Collaborative decision support platform is a key step in the development process from concept to application of collaborative decision making. There exist several problems that need to be solved in the construction process, such as the lack of precise definition on the concepts of collaborative decision making and collaborative decision support platform, the lack of requirement analysis methods on the construction of collaborative decision support platform, the lack of theoretical framework on the construction of collaborative decision support platform and the analysis on complementation methods and technologies. Moreover, the theoretical framework as well as complementation methods and technologies have not been verified.On the basis of literature review, studies on the construction of collaborative decision support platform are conducted. The purposed and significance of this dissertation are presented as follows. With respect to theoretical study, the concepts on collaborative decision making and collaborative decision support platform are defined, the requirement analysis on the construction of collaborative decision support platform in network environment is conducted, and a theoretical framework on the construction of collaborative decision support platform is presented. With respect to method study, the main decision making methods and complementation technologies on the construction of collaborative decision support platform are studied, which provide support to carry out the practical work of collaborative decision making. With respect to application study, a case on collaborative decision support platform is constructed based on the practical background. Through the case study, the validities on the presented framework and methods are proved. Furthermore the application of the constructed platform is proved well. Thus, various organizations can take the case study as a reference when they carry out the practical activities on collaborative decision making.A series of research works are conducted as follows.(1) The concepts of collaborative decision making and collaborative decision support platform are defined. Through analyzing collaborative decision making and collaborative decision support platform, their concepts are clarified, and the main theoretical basis of study on construction of collaborative decision support platform is introduced from two aspects, i.e., the practical problems of collaborative decision making and various kinds of collaborative decision support platform/system.(2) The requirements on construction of collaborative decision support platform are analyzed. On the basis of the methods for analyzing the requirements on construction of collaborative decision support platform, function requirement, knowledge requirement, decision model requirement and other requirement are analyzed, respectively.(3) The theoretical framework for the construction of collaborative decision support platform in network environment is presented. Considering the developing status of theory on the construction of collaborative decision support platform and the characteristics of collaborative decision making, a theoretical framework for the construction of collaborative decision support platform in network environment is presented. On the basis, analysis of the extended theoretical content is conducted including the life cycle of collaborative decision support platform, working mechanism of collaborative decision support platform and knowledge management for collaborative decision making. Furthermore, the key contents on the construction of collaborative decision support platform are presented including collaborative decision support models, knowledge push for collaborative decision making, and the complementation methods and key technologies for collaborative decision support platform.(4) The main decision support models and decision making methods involved in collaborative decision support platform are presented. On the basis of the theoretical framework for the construction of collaborative decision support platform, studies on the key support models of collaborative decision support platform are conducted, e.g., collaborative interaction model, decision making methods in the process of collaborative decision making, consistency analysis of group collaboration and corresponding adjustment methods. Through the studies mentioned above, organizations can obtain the support of feasible models and tools for constructing the collaborative decision support platform so as to improve the operation efficiency.(5) The complementation methods and key technologies of knowledge push system in the collaborative decision support platform are given. Concretely, knowledge system of collaborative decision making, knowledge space methods, main methods and key technologies of knowledge push are presented, respectively.(6) A case study on collaborative decision support platform is carried out. According to the real requirements on new business development and operation of CM Company, a collaborative decision support platform on LBS product development and operation is constructed. The construction theory, decision models and complementation methods and technologies of collaborative decision support platform presented in the dissertation are verified through the case study.
