The Research Of Comparative Advantage, Industrial Transfer And Coordinated Development Of Regional Economy

Since more than 30 years of reforming and opening up, China’s national economy has kept a high development speed for a long time, but the uncoordinated development issue between the widening of development gaps among regions of spatial levels and the unsustainable regional economic development patterns of the time perspective has become one of the most important issues to be addressed in the development of our country at this stage at the same time, the concrete show of which is that the less advanced regions have a large number of production factors with comparative advantages that flow into the developed areas, which could not form an effective input to achieve great-leap-forward development; and that the developed regions have a lower industrial value-added, which needs to optimize the development mode to promote the sustainable development. The industrial transfer can not only optimize the allocative efficiency of the resource space to form reasonable industrial divisions, but also play an important role in promoting the adjustment of economic structure and the transformation of development mode based on different resource endowment and development conditions in different areas. This article aims at promoting the coordinated development of regional economy in accordance with the above background on the basis of the analysis and answers to two realistic questions, basing on the industries of comparative advantages and taking the transfer as the research point of contacts:I. How the backward areas utilize the comparative advantage to achieve great-leap-forward development of the economy; II. How the developed regions change their development mode to achieve sustainable economic development.Based on political economics, development economics, industrial economics, new economic geography and other disciplines theories, this article consists of four parts by using historical logic method, comparative analysis and econometric related techniques:firstly, the article reviews and summarize the relevant research and evolution on the comparative advantage, industrial transfer and coordinated development of regional economy, and obtains two divergences in theoretical research of current phase, which are also two issues that this article is about to explain and discuss theoretically:(1) to conduct the effectiveness of the industrial transfer development based on the comparative advantage and (2) to promote the feasibility of the coordinated development of regional economy by using the industrial transfer; secondly, analyze the comparative advantage and industrial transfer from the aspects of economic agents and mechanism of action based on the determination of connotation of the comparative advantage, industrial transfer and coordinated development of regional economy as well as the internal theoretical mechanism between the industrial transfer and coordinated development of regional economy, thereby proving the above (1) and (2) this two hypotheses theoretically, and constructing a theory transmission mechanism and the logical framework based on the comparative advantage, utilization of the industrial transfer and promotion of the coordinated development of regional economy; then, the article will apply the analysis conclusions of the theoretical level into real research, compare and analyze the differences between the comparative advantage and industrial transfer at the current phase on the basis of the development reality of our country based on the integrated measurement of the regional comparative advantage, together with the empirical data on coordinated development of regional economy as well as the experience validation on the theoretical analysis results (1) and (2), and analyze the influence factors that hinder the coordinated development of regional economy, providing a realistic basis for the design of implementation path to promote the coordinated development of regional economy; finally, the article designs the implementation path to promote the coordinated development of regional economy for the backward regions and the developed regions respectively based on the research conclusions of the theoretical and empirical levels, and what’s more, the article analyzes and answers the two issues mentioned above, and proposes relevant policy recommendations to protect the realization of the implementation path to the coordinated development of regional economy according to the target differences between the Central Government and the local governments.This article has made the following achievements compared with the existing research:Firstly, providing the ideas of industrial transfer development based on the comparative advantage in order to promote the coordinated development of regional economy in China, and the article believes that it applies not only to the great-leap-forward development of the economy in the backward areas, but also meet the needs of optimizing development mode of sustainable development in developed areas through theoretical analysis and empirical studies. Secondly, making interpretation to the controversy on the effectiveness of the comparative advantage theory on the basis of expanding the connotation of the traditional comparative advantage theory based on dynamic perspective. Thirdly, constructing a theory transmission mechanism and the logical framework initially that takes the comparative advantage as the motive, the industrial transfer as the means and promotion of the coordinated development of regional economy as the target based on the controversy in existing studies together with theoretical redefinition of the industrial transfer. Fourthly, providing the exploration for comparing the regional comparative advantage based on the dynamic and comprehensive evaluation ideas. Fifthly, building a game system comprehensively and analyzing the competition between local governments under the constraint of the coordinated development of regional economy during the industrial transfer. Finally, verifying the theoretical arguments that the industrial transfer has positive promoting effect on convergence of regional economic growth as well as the growth quality of the regional economy with the empirical data in China.
