Research On The Impact Of Industrial Transfer On Regional Coordinated Development

Industrial transfer is widespread In today's globalized economy.It includes the transfer of the international industry from the developed countries to the developing countries and the inter-regional industrial transfers between developing regions,Industrial transfer can promote economic development in the backward areas and reduce the economic gap.At present,China's central and western regions face the dual opportunities of domestic and foreign industry transfer.However,The Midwest can not copy the foreign driven economic growth mode in the eastern region.Inter-regional industrial transfer will be the main reason which promotes the coordinated development of eastern and western region.Drawing on the experience of international industry transfer,it is a big goal of this paper to study how to make the transfer of inter-regional industry play a more effective role.Based on the above reasons,this paper explains the effect of different types of industrial transfer on regional economic disparity and the mechanism of action.Furthermore,this paper uses the provincial panel data from 2002 to 2014 to study the regional coordinated development effect of industrial transfer.The results show that the international industrial transfer in the western region has significantly reduced the economic gap between the eastern and western regions,while the transfer of inter regional industries has significantly expanded the economic gap between the east and the west.One possible explanation is that the international industry in the western region is dominated by capital and technology-intensive industries and the inter-regional industry transfers most labor intensive-industries;and the inter regional industry transfers to the eastern region to free up space and realize the industry Upgrade,but expanded the economic gap.When taking into account the cross of human capital and industrial transfer,with the accumulation of human capital and industry to enhance the ability to strengthen the international and regional industrial transfer will help narrow the economic gap and promote the coordinated development of the eastern and western regions.But in contrast,the international industry to reduce the economic gap between the marginal effect is better.
