Modern logistics industry has developed rapidly and has become one of the pillar industries of the national economy. Logistics monitoring system, which plays an important role in informatization and intelligentialization of logistics industry, has been widely used in transportation operation. Monitoring system based on satellite navigation or video monitoring system has become relatively mature, however, research and application of the vehicle monitoring system based on the Internet of Things has just started and has broad prospects for development.The purpose of this paper is to study how to optimize the efficiency of logistics vehicle monitoring system based on WSN.This paper introduces the related concepts of logistics vehicle monitoring system, introduces the current research achievements in the field, enumerates the typical case of modern logistics monitoring field, introduces WSN technology, and presents the general framework of logistics monitoring system based on WSN. The paper puts forward the corresponding solutions for several management bottlenecks, such as the mobile control, covering management and QoS routing, while the logistics monitoring system being used for monitoring vehicles.The main research achievements are as follows:1) The paper presents a distributed algorithm to solve the problem how to cover the space within vehicle efficiently. The algorithm can help logistics monitoring system to achieve seamless coverage of 3D space, especially the irregular interior space within logistics vehicle, and to prolong the lifetime of the WSN. The paper conducts the simulation and the simulation results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper can effectively solve the problem of vehicle interior 3D space, and can prolong the lifetime of logistics monitoring system over 20%.2)This paper presents a new WSN-NEMO protocol and generates an efficient network topology of data transmission to improve the efficiency of the monitoring system when the vehicle is moving, including:a) reducing signaling overhead; b) reducing handover latency over 30% in average; c) reducing communication time from end to end over 40% in average.3) This paper studies a QoS routing path protocol to satisfy the bandwidth requirement of the user. This paper studies the issue how to use cooperative communication in multi hop wireless networks to provide QoS support, proposes a cross layer cooperative QoS communication architecture, and seeks a routing path from the terminal to terminal, which has maximum bandwidth and scheduling scheme avoiding interference. This paper proposes a distributed algorithm to solve the wc-rp problem, and realizes it in the actual test bed. The results show tha cooperative communication can improve the routing path from terminal to terminal, and help network to accommodate more data flow.This study is helpful to improve the application level of wireless sensor network in the logistics industry, to impove communication and information transfer level of supply chain, to improve the intelligentation level of modern logistics industry, to improve the comprehensive management level of the logistics industry, to improve the safety level of logistics industry, to improve the service level of the whole logistics industry and to improve the customer satisfaction.
