An Empirical Study On The Key Factors Affecting The Growth Of Innovative Enterprises

Innovative enterprises is the most basic aspect in the process of building innovative country and is the microeGonomic foundations to enhance our capacity for independent innovation to achieve the shift of economic development mode. The growth of innovative enterprises is foundations to formate and promote the industry and national innovation ability, which directly affects the competitiveness of our country. How to promote the development of innovative enterprises has become the focus of the country, society and enterprises, in order to deeply analyze the rule of growth for innovation enterprises, the key factors affecting the growth of innovative enterprises must be studied. Therefore, this paper is empirical study that analyze the key factors for the growth of innovative enterprises, in order to provide a meaningful guidance for the healthy growth of innovative enterprises in China.This study is composed of the following parts:First, summarize the research results of the connotation of innovation enterprises and the growth of innovative enterprises. Based on the resource-based view of the growth of innovative enterprises, the ability of innovative enterprises and the innovation strategy, sorted out the key factors that affect the growth of innovative enterprises.Second, based on the connotation of innovative enterprises and the growth of innovative enterprises, research the dimensions of innovation resources,innovation strategy and innovation ability, combined with conclusion of relevant literature research, Put forward assumptions that innovation resources,innovation ability and innovation strategy innovation and the dimensions influence on growth of innovation enterprises, build conceptual model between innovation resources, innovation capability, innovation strategy and innovative business growth.Third, combinate the sample data as well as the research literature,we proposed measurement indicator system of the key factors that affect the growth of innovative enterprisesand empirical analysis methods used are described,Test the concepts model and the assumptions and discussed the significance of hypothesis testing.Fouth, define three different types of innovative companies that are innovative enterprises derivative from universities or research institutes, innovative enterprises derivative from state-owned enterprises as well as innovative enterprises derivative from private enterprise,combining different types of data Test the diffirenes of key factors affecting the growth of three types innovative enterprises and compared the results.The main conclusions obtained as follows:First, the impact of innovation resources, innovation ability and innovation strategy for the growth of innovative enterprises is significant. The innovation resources into four dimensions that is organizational resources, research and development resources, market resources and government support,innovative resources and its various dimensions have a positive effect on the growth of innovative enterprises, innovation resources and their various dimensions are the Key growth factors for innovative enterprises. Innovate ability further divided into four dimensions,that are innovation strategy ability, learning ability, innovation management ability and ability the achieve ability of innovation, innovative ability and its four dimensions between innovative enterprises promote growth showed a positive relationship, indicating that innovation capability and its dimensions are the key factors that influence the growth of innovative enterprises. Innovation strategy is divided into two dimensions,that are independent innovation strategy and the open innovation strategy, two dimensions of innovation strategy has a positive relationship for innovative business growth.Second, innovation resources and innovation ability has a positive impact on innovation strategy. Innovation resources and innovation strategy and its various dimensions has the present positive effect relationship, indicating that innovation resources is the important factor affecting the innovation strategy of Innovative Enterprises; likewise, innovation capability and its various dimensions also showed a positive relationship between innovation capacity and innovation Strategy, innovation capacity is also an important factor of key factors affected innovation strategy.Third, there is a significant relationship between innovation resources and innovation capabilities and innovative business growth, but the relationship variables significantly weakened when innovation strategy introduced, innovation strategy play an intermediary role between innovation ability,innovation resources and the growth of innovation enterprises which results literature review and logical argument is the same as described innovation strategy does have an intermediary role.Fourth,The study found that the innovation resources, innovation capability, innovation strategy and their respective dimensions has different performances in different types of innovative enterprises as well as innovative strategies intermediary role. For innovation resources, R&D resources and organization resources is has a relatively large impact on the growth of innovative enterprises derivative from universities or research institutes, while market resources are relatively small; For innovative enterprises derivative from state-owned enterprises, organizational resources and government support for the growth of enterprises is relatively large, but the research and development resources and market resources are relatively small. For innovative enterprises derivative from private enterprise,organizational resources and market resources is relatively large for the growth of enterprises, research and development resources and government support is relatively small; In innovation ability, the innovation management capability and innovation achieve ability are the most important to the growth of innovative enterprises derivative from universities or research institutes and the learning ability and innovation achieve ability are relatively small. For innovative enterprises derivative from state-owned enterprises, the innovation management capability and innovation achieve capability are relatively small, For innovative enterprises derivative from private enterprise,the innovation ability and learning ability are relatively small, and the innovation management capability and innovation ability of enterprises are relatively small, and the innovation strategy is relatively small. In the innovation strategy, for innovative enterprises derivative from universities or research institutes, the research and development resources are the main factors that affect the innovation strategy, the market resources is less important for innovation strategy.The learning ability innovation management ability and The ability to achieve innovation are the key factors for the formation of enterprise innovation strategy. For innovative enterprises derivative from state-owned enterprises, organization resources and market resources are the key factors for the formation of the innovation strategy, government support and research and development resources are relatively small. In the medium of the innovation strategy, the contribution of independent innovation strategy to the growth of the enterprise is higher than that of the open innovation strategy for the contribution of the innovation oriented enterprises’ independent innovation strategy to the growth of the enterprise should be higher than the open innovation strategy for innovative enterprises derivative from private enterprise.The independent innovation strategy and open innovation strategy have a positive effect on the growth of enterprises, but the independent innovation strategy has more contribution to the growth of enterprises for innovative enterprises derivative from state-owned enterprises.For innovative enterprises derivative from private enterprise, the independent innovation strategy and open innovation strategy have a positive impact on the growth of enterprises, but the open innovation has a greater impact on the growth of enterprises.
