In this research, we are trying to find the answer of the question "Why is there a huge difference between developed/rich and catching up nations, poor economies" and confident to analyze the components and factors that accelerate the innovation in BRICS countries. The comprehensive purpose of this doctoral study is to concentrate on the dynamic associations and co-evaluating the capabilities of BRICS countries innovation system. We intend at devoting to the research literature and policy by producing quantitative based proof of the framework that connects the comprehensive element of innovation system to economic system for a longtime. The series of linear regression analysis a statistical tool, used for this study intended at assessing innovation and absorptive capacities of the national system of innovation of BRICS countries. This was accomplished by evaluating the entire-relationships and inspecting that how innovation capacities, absorptive capacities and economic development these variables anticipate one another of BRICS countries. The analysis was completed utilizing the SPSS software and the data for most of the variables except for the patent counts were collected from the World Bank (WDI) and UNESCO. The data about patent statistics obtained from the United State Patent and Trade office (USPTO), and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) websites for BRICS countries. Data exercised for following research thesis are time series, annual data from 1999-2014, a time of 16 year focus on a sample of BRICS countries along with a group of seven selected indicators. The findings showed the degree to which components of the NIS depend on one another for all BRICS countries, in this manner any changes in one indicator in the NIS effect on other indicators in system. This demonstrates collaborations and connections within the BRICS NIS are distinctive moreover every system may be extraordinary. These results have significant connotation for policy makers.
