The logistics enterprises are facing opportunities and challenges in the internet age. On one hand, the logistics enterprises have their own problems, such as small scale, scattered, disorder and poor quality. Meanwhile, the international big companies have been challenging the market position of Chinese companies since China joined the WTO(World Trade Organization). On the other hand, there are some good opportunities to support the development of logistics enterprises in China, for example, the modern information technology, internet technology, and the policy support from the central government. Under this certain background, the transforming of logistics enterprises from tranditional type to the internet platform-based logisitics enterprises will be the trend. Therefore, the research on the strategic human resource management of logistics enterprises has theoretical and practical meanings for dealing with the challenges and upgrading the model of companies’ development.The thesis starts from the theoretical background of human resource management of logistics enterprise in the internet age. The research shows that the human resource management theory of modern logistics enterprises are based on the direct influences of traditional human resource management theory and the indirect influences of other theories, such as humnan capital theory, management thoughts of internet age, non-edge theory, supply chain theory, and the big data and data anaylsis theories. These theories have critical impacts on the human resource management theory, process and methods.On the basis of theoretical research, the thesis carried out the case study of C Internet Supply Chain Company. The objective of the research is to find out the law of strategic human resource management of the C Company in the process of transforming from traditional logistics company to modern logistics company. C company is a best practice of logistics company in the internet age. The thesis summarized the practice of strategic human resource management in three points:First, the strategic planning of human resource management of logistics company in internet age. The strategic planning of human resource management is based on the company’s development strategy and the consideration of internal and external context. The platform-based company development strategy has integrated the traditional development strategy. Meanwhile, the C company choose the value-chain model as its commercial model in the internet age, which is also in accordance with the trend of commercial model of internet company. The characteristics of strategic planning of human resource management include five aspects: platform-based strategy, stages, standardization, big-data analysis, customer-orientated thoughts.Second, the path of institutions construction of human resource management of logistics company in the internet age. In implementing the company’s development strategy and strategic human resource management, the reverse thinking was applied. It takes the increasing of company’s value as final goal. The financial analysis is carried out with this aim. Under the financial analysis, each person and department’s management institutions are generated. The path is like the following: increasing the value of the company is the starting point; the second step, the logistics company’s financial analysis, which is separated into income and cost; the third step, the income and cost are detailed with customers’ needs and service items; the fourth step, the concrete human resource management institutions are put forward on the basis of former analysis. Through these measures, the strong connections between value increasing and human resource management are set up, which could promise the realization of the company’s development strategy and the human resource management strategy.Third, the research on the different models of human resource management, which was represented by performance management. Limited by the length and the time, this thesis takes the performance management as an example to show the general law of different models of human resource management of logistics company in the internet age. Performance management has the functions of strategy, management and development. It is an effective measure in scientific management. The C company puts forward the performance management statistics model with data analysis based on the logistics information system. These innovations include the human resource effectiveness analysis model, which is based on the date of management, operation and human resource information. The aim of the model is to analyze the effectiveness of input and output of human resource, to give the scientific proof for strategic human resource management and policy making. Meanwhile, it puts forward the conception of employee assets value, which is based on the comparison of platform trade volume and employee input data. The aim of this model is to compare the performance of different sub-company and to give suggestions for improvement.To sum up, the thesis summarizes the experiences of C Company in strategic human resource management in the internet age, which include the strategic planning of human resource management, institutions construction, and the performance management in three levels. The research could show us the comprehensive theoretical model of strategic human resource management in the internet age. At the end of the thesis, the limitations of the research are summarized and the prospective directions for future research are pointed out.
