Assembly-Design is an important part of the assembly directly affects product quality and design efficiency. Current assembly design automation has become a bottleneck in the full realization of the modernization of manufacturing, how to build a highly intelligent and complex information at environmental management capacity of the assembly design, assembly design is a hot issue. Assembly design nowadays mainly after the simulation and verification based design tools, the lack of structural complexity of the assembly the nature of the study, involving intelligence methods often remain in the problem solving and modeling level. Therefore, the assembly structure of this paper, the carrier-oriented self-organization theory, through theoretical studies, system analysis, mathematical modeling, mechanism design and other means to further tap the assembly of the scientific content, clear the assembly structure of organization, structural design of the assembly method of self-organization, to improve the assembly design information and intelligence of the theory and provide technical support. The main work is as follows:1. Debate on the similarity between assembly and natural creatureFirstly, starting from the technical characteristics of the assembly, the assembly of the scientific content was comprehensive analyzed. On this basis, the assembly system and the biological systems are compared, including the four aspects of the system structure, life cycle, gene control, and population dynamics evolution, as well as the differences between the composition of assembly products from top-down and the composition of bottom up natural biological. Then, the resultant structure of the split nature of the assembly was given and a specific definition of the structure was proposed, and the assembly of the division transformation principle was given, so that the arguments for the assembly of organized and establishment of the principle of self-organization and the forming mechanism of dissipation of the structure could have the foundation.2. Argumentation on organization of the assembly functionstructureBased on the essence of assembly, the concept of uncertainty was introduced into assembly structure, and the discussion of the organization of assembly structure is to eliminate the uncertainty point of view was stated, and that the assembly structure is an organized structure of the order. The contents of the assembly constituted organization was discussed, and based on engineering characteristics of structural organization of the base assembly was proposed, then, organizational capacity is defined, and quantification methodsbased on the dynamic uncertainty and uncertainty was given, then the assembly structure dimension degree was divided, and the meaning of the expression and the engineering meaningin degree of freedom dimension, the main assembly dimensions and the auxiliary assembly dimension of were given.Then by the concept of functional analysis, the concept of assembly functional base was given,and the structure of functional independence model and a functional parameter space was constructed, then, given the organization of functional transformation principle. The part of the follow-up study of the principle of self-organization of the assembly was carried out on these which provided a theoretical base.3. Research on the self-organizing principle of assembly structureAccording to the characteristics of the assembly structure organization, the concept of self-organization in assembly systems was given, and the differences between unorganized and organized, self-organization and be-organizations, as well as the difference between automatic and adaptive was analysis. Then, the assembly structure evolution experience from the non-organization to organizationwas stated, and that the changing possibilityfrom organization to the self-organization as well as the corresponding theoretical and technical basis was debated. On this basis, drawing on self-organization theory of open, non-linear, far from equilibrium base characteristics and mechanisms, the assembly structure of the self-organization theory was explored, then a theory and the assembly of the functional gene theory and dissipative structures was proposed, the assembly genes control mode wasconstructed, and the central dogma of gene assembly was given.These worksprovided the necessary basic principles to the assembly structure of the self-organization designed. 4. Construction of dissipative mechanism of assembly structureBy the direction of self-organization theory, and the help of theory of dissipative structure, the basic idea of dissipative structures was proposed.And the dissipative rule and differential method in the assembly structure forming were proposed, as well as the ordering hypothesis differential between the short-range structural unit and long-range effects.On this basis, themodel of dissipation process of the assembly structure was designed, and a mechanism was establishedby the field modelof the long range effect media, the differential unit of the structure base, the element force of local role base and flow model of the external control channel.The assembly structure dissipative forming system was constructed, and the system element and system space was defined. Then, the role between system elements was given. These researches give out the functional model and technical architecture for assembly structure self-organizing design.Finally, a prototype system, named 3D-ASDS, of assembly structure dissipative forming based on self-organization theory was design and developed. By this system, the research, method and mechanism in thesis were validated.
