The integration of manufacturing technology and information technology, especially the emergence and development of networked digital manufacturing technology, has brought new challenge and opportunity for numerical control technology. As one of the key technologies of manufacturing system, numerical control system has made a great improvement in the aspect of processing speed, precision, functionality, reliability and etc. But there is still no change happens in the architecture, which can not satisfied the new requirement of networked digital manufacturing technolgy, can not make full use of numerical control resource, and also affects the development of digital manufacuring technology. In order to change current architecture of numerical control system and implement the configurable of numerical control system, further research on the service-oriented configurable network numerical control system is made in this paper. Detailed contents are given as follows:(1) Research on the architecture of service-oriented network numerical control system. Based on the analysis of current architecture and structure of CNC system, the thesis indicated that the open CNC system suffers from a number of problems, such as complication of structure, duplication of function, lack of flexibility, waste of computing resource and etc. The architecture of service-oriented network numerical control system (SoNNC) is brought forward. The SoNNC system can provide remote operation and control function, and the machine capability is provide to other NC systems as a service throught Internet.(2) Research on configurable service-oriented network numerical system. Based on the analysis of new requirement of network manufacturing environment, two levels optimizing configuration strategy of serviced oriented network numerical control system is proposed, namely the function-configurable of a service-oriented network numerical system and resource configurable of among service-oriented network numerical systems. And the main study contents of the configurable system are summarized, that is, decomposition of manufacturing task, retrieving and matching of NC resource, optimizing of candidate resources and implement of configurable method.(3) Research on the key technologies of configurable network numerical control system. Firstly, under the analysis of characteristics of NC resource and its modeling requirement, the resource model of NC system is constructed form the view of supporting sharing and collaboration and relized by OWL-S languabe. Secondly, the hybrid similarity calculation approach with the combination of grammar-based and the property-based is proposed. And the synthesis semantics for retrieving and matching candidate resources service is presented. Thirdly, a constructing algorithm based on improved ant colony algorithm networked NC resource service chain is presented, and resources chain construction examples separately based on time, cost and time-cost-quality-satisfaction synthesis are provided.(4) Research on the real-time high-precision interpolation algorithm for general-typed parametric curves under network environment. Based on the analysis of common interpolation algorithms, such as pulse incremental interpolation, data sampling interpolation and complex parametric curve interpolation, a real-time high precision interpolation algorithm for a general-typed parametric curve is proposed in the text. Expriment results have verified the effectiveness and efficiency of the interpolation algorithm and it has been applied to the service-oriented configurable CNC system.(5) Implementation of service-oriented dynamic configurable network numerical control system. Based on the theory mentioned above, prototypes of service-oriented configurable network numerical control system are developed, which realized fuction configurable and resource configurable, respectively. These prototype systems have confirmed the theories and the methods which state in the paper is effective and feasible.
