| Nowadays, open architecture CNC systems are becoming one of the most important directions of CNC technology. The research purpose of open CNC systems is to build a modular, reconfigurable and expandable architecture of CNC systems to improve the system's flexibility, and enable the systems to be re-developed .As a result, CNC systems can be responsive to the market quickly and economically.With the development of international open CNC projects, more attention is paid to open CNC at home. But relative researches are still at the stage of beginning .In this paper, some key aspects and technology on the design of open architecture CNC systems are researched ,including the analysis of open architecture system, open hardware structure design, software modeling and developing, curve interpolation technology in motion control,etc.Follwing are the main work and results:Open architecture CNC systems are investigated, some principles and a concept model for open architecture systems are proposed which can be used as the guidance of detailed design of software. Definition of NC software IC is given.In system hardware architecture,Pc is the base platform,With a 4-axis motion control board,step servo motor and theirs corresponding drivers,a system configuration is constructed. This constructing method directly uses PC architecture, combining formed NC production, fully embodied the characters of multi-module and economy. This method is appropriately used to build mid or small system.The main purpose of this dissertation is to research and develop CNC System. In system software architecture, the modular design method is introduced. And the corresponding program is designed. Every function is put into an independent module. Any changes in one module have no influence in other module. System has offered the corresponding programme interface for users, which meets the different demands.The key technologies about open architecture of CNC systems are studied, including the curve interpolation algorithms and Frequency control algorithms of Stepper Servomotor,etc.Finally, the research contents of this dissertation have been summarized and the prospect of open architecture CNC systems has been opened up. |
