This paper proposes a new Kind of absor(?) ption heat pump cycle using water/glycol and water/diglycol as working pairs. According to the first and second laws of thermodynamics, the mathematic model describing the heat pump is established theoretically. From the thermodynamic inconvertibile principle, the exergetic loss of the heat pump cycle induced by the thermodynamic inconvertibility is analysed. In addition,the mass transfer process of main components in the heat pump cycle, such as a generator and an absorber, is analyzed, and the mass trasfer model, the re relation of its separation effectiveness with the thermodynamic inconvertibility ane described. Through the study of heat transfer between the cool and hot fluids in the recuperator, the expression describing the exergetic loss of their convective heat transfer is derived.
