With the continuous development of science and technology,environmental issues have attracted widespread attention.Among the environmental problems,the treatment of oily wastewater and oil spills is particularly prominent.High oil absorption resin is a new type of polymer material with ultra-low degree of cross-linking,which has excellent saturated oil absorption rate and oil-water separation performance.Therefore,it has been one of the most promising oily wastewater treatment materials.At present,although the high oil absorption resins have shown high saturated oil absorption performance,but their oil absorption rate was still relatively slow.When dealing with a type of spilled oil,the spread of the oil cannot be prevented in a short time,resulting in a low treatment efficiency.In order to further improve the oil absorption performance of the oil absorption resin,we selected the linear crosslinking agent 1,4-butanediol dimethacrylate(BDDMA),and used different acrylic monomers as the monomers to prepare functional high oil absorption resins by suspension polymerization in this thesis.The prepared high oil absorption resins have shown excellent oil absorption property,so we further expanded the application range of it.The research works of this thesis are as follows:By using octadecyl methacrylate(SMA),butyl acrylate(BA),and styrene(St)as monomers,BDDMA as crosslinking agent,the ternary high oil absorption resin was prepared by suspension polymerization.The effects of the amount of crosslinking agent on the oil absorption performance of ternary super oil absorption resin were studied.By testing the saturated oil absorption rate of chloroform,the best oil absorption resin was determined.The saturated absorption rate of toluene,chloroform,n-hexane,methylene chloride,gasoline,diesel,and kerosene were tested,and they were 23.18 g/g,34.00 g/g,15.86 g/g,22.20 g/g,10.34 g/g,18.44 g/g,17.74 g/g,respectively.The ternary super oil absorption resin/polyurethane composite material(RPU)was prepared by using the ternary super oil absorption resin as the filler and the room temperature curing polyurethane as the matrix material.18 mesh,35 mesh,100 mesh ternary super oil absorption resin were used to incorporate into PU matrixes to prepare RPU with different particle sizes.The effect of oil absorption resin particle size on the mechanical properties and repairing properties of RPU was studied.35 mesh ternary high oil absorption resin was used to prepare RPU with different amounts.The effect of different oil absorption resin amounts on the mechanical properties and repairable properties of RPU was studied.The RPU with the best performance was the sample with 35 mesh super oil absorption resin,and the mass ratio of high oil absorption resin and polyurethane was 3:10.By using dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate(DEAEMA)as the monomer and BDDMA as the cross-linking agent,the pH-responsive oil absorption resin was prepared by suspension polymerization.The effect of the amount of crosslinking agent on the saturated oil absorption and pH responsiveness was mainly studied.The effect of the amount of crosslinking agent on the saturated oil absorption and pH responsiveness was mainly studied.The saturated absorption capacities of oil absorption resin for toluene,acetone,chloroform,and tetrahydrofuran are 10.01 g/g,5.22 g/g,13.62 g/g,8.89 g/g.The absorption could reach saturation within 30 s,and it had an excellent absorption rate.R-DEAEMA contains a large number of tertiary amino groups,which are protonated with H~+under acidic conditions,R-DEAEMA turns into hydrophilic state to realize oil desorption.Then,the protonated R-DEAEMA was treated in alkaline environment,the tertiary amino group was deprotonated,and the R-DEAEMA was restored to hydrophobic state.The cycle performance test was carried out through acid-base stimulation,and the saturated oil absorption rate of 84%was still maintained after 5 cycles.Another application of oil absorption resin was dye absorbance,which exhibited good absorbance to acidic dyes.The absorption performance of oil absorption resin to 40 mg/L eosin solution was tested under the conditions of pH=3,pH=7,pH=10,and pH=13.The saturated absorption capacities were 36.75 mg/g,34.35 mg/g,26.01 mg/g,3.83 mg/g.After the oleoresin is absorbed,the concentration of the eosin solution can be reduced to 0.79 mg/L.
