Electro-acupuncture Combined With Cupping Treatment Of Simple Obesity Clinical Research

The objectsObservating the clinical effect of treating the obesity by electro acupuncture combined with cupping, which is designed to provide a effective method and reliable identification for the treatment of obesity.The methodsWe study the pathogenesis research, the therapy research progression and acupuncture therapy of the Simple Obesity in Chinese medicine and the modern medicine by looking up the literature from internal or abroad. On this basis, to meet the inclusion criteria of the 60 cases diagnosed in Western patients with simple obesity were randomly divided into treatment group and control group of 30 patients. The control groups take combined with cupping therapy, while the control groups take the simple electro acupuncture. The BMI, symptom score, scale, blood biochemical parameters as indicators are used to evaluate the efficacy.The results①The degree of obesity were both significantly improved in the two groups, by t test, P<0.05 or P<0.01 and the treatment group compared with the control group, significant difference by t test, P>0.05. It can explain the treatment group in terms of efficacy to reduce the degree of obesity is as good as the control group.②Before and after two groups has the significant difference in the weight, BMI, waist and hip circumference by group comparison, P<0.05;while between the group comparison, P>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant; waist-hip ratio group, group comparison, P>0.05, the difference was not significant. It shows that both declined a similar level in the weight, BMI, waist and hip circumference.③Byt test, the difference of symptom scores are not statistically significant after the treatment,p>0.05.④By t test, there is no significant difference in blood lipid changes in meaning after the treatment,p>0.05.⑤By the chi-square test, There is no significant difference of BMI in the total effective after the treatment, (p>0.05). But the total effective rate is significant difference in the weight lost, waist and hip circumference change (p<0.05). The conclusionsThe electro acupuncture combined with cupping therapy is effective and reliable to treat the simple obesity during the short term.It is a healthy and effective way to lose weight, and it is safe, no side effects, easy-to-be accepted by patients, so it's worthy of application.
