Study On The Clinical Efficacy Of Three Therapy Methods In Treating Obesity

ObjectiveTo compare the clinical efficacy difference between electro-acupuncture, acupoint catgut embedding and healty diety combining with sports in treating obesity base on on the healthy diet and exercise.Methods90cases were collected and randomly devided into Electro-acupuncture, Catgut implantation group, Healty food and sports goup. For electro-acupuncture treatment, the main points of the selection of points include Wai Ling (double), Tian Shu (double), Hua Roumen (double), Shui Fen, San Yinjiao. For Wei Chang Fu Re Syndrome, Qu Chi, He Gu, Shang Juxu, Nei ting were added; Tan Shi Nei Yun Snyrome, Zu Sanli, Feng Long, Zhong Wan, Yin Lingquan; Pi Wei Qi Xu Snyrome, Pi Shu, Wei Shu, Zu Sanli, San Yinjiao; Zhen Yuan Bu Zu Snyrome, Qi Hai, Guan Yuan, Shen Shu, San Jiao Shu. Treatment were applied every other day. Treatment paused during menstruation;10times as a course of intermittent after a day continue to the next course of treatment. Acupoint catgut embedding group on the basis of healthy eating and exercise, to be acupoint catgut embedding therapy, the main point and with the card with points10points the same in both the EA group, and every election, every two weeks once catgut embedding therapy. Healty food and sports goup fullfil a strict healthy diet and exercise program. Two months later, all the data for statistical analysis, and then compare the three groups of patients with body weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, WHR, BMI, and clinical efficacy differences. And adverse events recorded in the whole course of the study.ResultTwo months after the treatment, each group after treatment than before treatment of the body weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, WHR, BMI, both improved by between any two groups, no significant difference between groups except hip, I indicatorswere statistically significant, the acupoint catgut, embedding group indicators to improve the most, followed by the EA group. Three groups of clinical efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding group optimum, the total effective rate was86.67percent, followed by the EA group, the total effective rate of76.67%. Healty food and sports goup, the total effective rate was65.33%. During the entire course of treatment, no serious adverse events happened.Counc lus ionCompared to healthy diet and exercise only, electro-acupuncture, catgut implantation have better clinical efficacy in treating obesity, and acupoint catgut embedding group is better than electro-acupuncture, long-term efficacy needs further study.
