Dysmenorrhea is a world concerned incurable diseases, and also a common gynecological diseases. Depends on the degrees of Dysmenorrheal, the incidence reported varied, including severe Dysmenorrhea accounted for about18%, many patients with Dysmenorrhea had it as a normal physiological phenomenon and have never been to the hospital, or think treatment is not valid. Chinese medicine has a good result for in healing Dysmenorrhea, the effect is consolidated, few adverse reactions, also, the treatment of Dysmenorrhea, can improve blood rheology, has a unique advantage in terms of symptom improvement and long-term efficacy of Dysmenorrhea. Therefore, the emphasis on the treatment of Dysmenorrhea is necessary. Chinese medicine is a great treasure, ancient and modern Chinese literature contains valuable experience in diagnosis and treatment of this disease, it is worth to dig. Start from the theoretical study of the collation of ancient literature and prescription application analysis and summary of the Dysmenorrhea ancient literature overview and ancient prescription Treatment of law, in order to provide a useful reference for research and clinical medicine.Objective1.Relevant Literature researched and differentiated of Traditional Chinese Medicine of DysmenorrheaThe author used TCM documental study of "discriminating thoughts among different academic schools and probing academic origin" combining with textual research and modern analytic method, and gave classified study of all kinds information. The document study in different dynasties showed Dysmenorrhea was first mentioned in the Sui Dynasty with the syndromes "stomach during menstruation" but not the exact name "Tongjing". During the Songjinyuan Dynasties, they didn't use the name "Tongjing" although they have a further progress on the cognition and treatment of Dysmenorrhea. Until Qing Dynasty, we found the name "Tongjing"'. The reason was mainly included internal and external. The external pathogen was cold and the internal pathogen was classified in four directions:qi stagnation and blood stasis, cold and excess damp, asthenia of qi and blood, asthenia of liver and kidney. The therapeutic methods are:Regulating qi and activing blood, warm and removing dampness, nourishing qi and blood, nourishing the liver and kidney.2. Study on the laws of syndrome differentiation and treatment of prescriptionsThrough analysis of statistical methods for the ancient and modern prescriptions, conclude the usage and characteristics of these prescriptions treating Dysmenorrhea, to explore the regulation of syndrome differentiation and treatment and prescriptions treating Dysmenorrhea, for clinical reference, and benefit to the literature research and theoretical improvement to this disease. â…  The laws of syndrome differentiation and treatment of ancient prescriptionsMethodA dictionary of Chinese Medicine Prescription is used as the main searching target, combine with databases on the Internet and libarary of Guangzhou University of TCM, scan from the Eastern Han Dynasty, down to the Qing Dynasty for the prescription data about the treatment of Dysmenorrhea. Standardize data, establish prescription database, and make analysis of frequency of use, cluster through the use of statistical methods to conclude its syndrome and treatment regulation of prescription.ResultsIn the statistical analysis of prescription of results in the period before the Song Dynasties, the most commonly used medicine included:Baishao, Fuling, Rougui, Danggui, Gangjiang; there is the larger proportion to replenishing drugs(22.00%), stasis-eliminating drugs(16.00%), drugs for warming interior (14.00%), dampness removing drugs(12.00%) and heat-clearing drugs(10.00%);cumulative frequency up tp74.00%; the drugs mainly into spleen meridian(19.12%), heart meridian(18.38%) and the liver meridian(18.01%), cumulative proportion up to55.51%; medication partial to warm and bland(45.00%) and to sweet and bitter(49.46%);For cluster analysis, the drug combinations are mainly used to treat Dysmenorrhea caused by cold, asthenia of qi and excess dampness. In the statistical analysis of prescription of results in the period of the Songjiyuan Dynasties, the most commonly used medicine included:Danggui, Chuanxiong, Baishao, Guizhi, Niuxi;there is the larger proportion to stasis-eliminating drugs(24.78%), replenishing drugs(21.51%), drugs for warming interior(10.53%), heat-clearing drugs(10.24%), drugs for relieving exterior syndrome(8.9%), cumulative frequency up tp75.96%;the drugs mainly into the liver meridian(21.84%), spleen meridian(19.95%) and heart meridian(17.27%), cumulative proportion up to59.05%;medication partial to warm and bland(62.33%) and to spicy and sweet(61.67%);For cluster analysis, the drug combinations are mainly used to treat Dysmenorrhea caused by cold and blood stasis, qi stagnation and blood stasis. In the statistical analysis of prescription of results in the period from the Ming Dynasty, the most commonly used medicine included:Danggui, Baishao, Rougui, Taoren, Mudanpi;there is the larger proportion to stasis-eliminating drugs (29.86%), replenishing drugs (23.17%), heat-clearing drugs (12.34%), drugs for warming interior(8.92%), drugs for relieving exterior syndrome(7.09%), cumulative frequency up tp81.37%; the drugs mainly into the liver meridian (25.62%), the spleen meridian (20.20%) and the heart meridian (18.49%), cumulative proportion up to64.31%; medication partial to warm and bland (62.33%) and to spicy and sweet62.90%; For cluster analysis, the drug combinations are mainly used to treat Dysmenorrhea caused by cold and blood stasis, qi stagnation and blood stasis. In the statistical analysis of prescription of results in the period from the Qing Dynasties, the most commonly used medicine included:Danggui, Baishao, Yanhusuo, Ciancao, Chuanxiong;there is the larger proportion to replenishing drugs(29.10%), stasis-eliminating drugs(27.51%),drugs for regulating qi(10.88%), heat-clearing drugs(9.54%), drugs for warming interior(6.85%), cumulative frequency up to83.86%; the drugs mainly into the liver meridian(25.42%), the spleen meridian(21.62%) and the heart meridian(17.12%), cumulative proportion up to64.16%;medication partial to warm and bland (66.99%) and to spicy and sweet (61.83%);For cluster analysis, the drug combinations are mainly used to treat Dysmenorrhea caused by cold and blood stasis, qi stagnation and blood stasis.ConclusionAnalysis from prescriptions about Dysmenorrhea indicates that there is higher using proportion and frequency for stasis-eliminating drugs, replenishing drugs, drugs for warming interior, medication partial to warm and bland;mainly to spicy and sweet, the drugs mainly into the liver, spleen and heart meridian; For cluster analysis, drugs combinations are mainly included stasis-eliminating drugs, replenishing drugs, drugs for warming interior and qi relgulating drugs, with the functions of activating blood and eliminating stasis, nourishing qi and blood, warm meridian to remove cold, regulating and moving qi;reflecting feature less asthenia and more sthenia, deficiency syndrome mixing with excess syndrome about cause and pathogenesis of Dysmenorrhea.According to ancient and modern exposition and knowledge learning from Professor Deng, the author discussed the etiology and pathogenesis of Dysmenorrhea. To make the diagnosis of Dysnenorrhea comprehensive, systematic and clear; to make the treatment system that combines the disease and the syndrome in TCM more reasonable.
