Objective: To observe the effect on the growth factor(PDGF,FGF, EGF) and JAK-STAT signal pathway of the Rheumatoid Arthritis rabbits's synoviocyte, treated with moxibustion, study the molecule signal transduc tion mechanism of treating RA with moxibustion more profoundly.Method: Make the RA rabbits animal model with Freund's Complete Adjuvant (FCA), moxibusting the Shenshu point (BL23),based on the TCM theory of warming kidney and strength the bone.the items observed includes: inflammation swelling, pain threshold, EGF, FGF, PDGF of sy novial fluid and the expression. and phosphorylated activation of JAK1, ST AT3, the expression of NF-kB, in order to get the effect on the molecule signal transduction mechanism after treated with moxibustion.Result: Moxibustion is able to anti-inflammatory and relieve pain, decrease the level of EGF, FGF and PDGF, there are significant differencebetween the treatment group and the control group (P<0.05).and regulatethe expression and phosphorylated activation of JAK1, STAT3, and the expression of the NF-kB.Conclusion: Moxibustion the Shenshu point is able to control thesynonitis, proliferation and cartilage or sclerotic destruction of Rabbits RAmodel, so postpone the RA aggravation. These effect could be related to EGF, FGF, PDGF level decreasing and JAK-STAT signal pathway treated with Moxibustion the Shenshu point.
