Lingnan Doctors, Chen Ying-shan, Academic Research, From The Hot And Humid On The Treatment Of Bile Reflux Gastritis

This paper primarily sorted out the academic thoughts and clinical experience of Dr. Chen Yingshan, a late famous specialist in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Guangdong.Dr. Chen Yingshan has been working as a doctor more than fifty years. He had abundant experience in treating Spleen and Stomach disease, especially in treating Bile Reflux Gastrits(BRG).In his experience, the pathogeny of BRG including the exterior factors, Emotion, diet and fatigue, and the main mechanism of BRG is humid and heat sticking. QingHuaTang is contrived by Dr. Chen in in treating Bile Reflux Gastrits(BRG).It obtain the effect by getting rid of wet and heat, regulating stomache and lowering the adverse flow of qi.Clinical research: 80 patients with BRG were randomly divided into two groups, the treatment group and the control group. 45 cases were treated with QingHuaTang as the treatment group , and another 35 cases were treated with Motilium and Dalcid as control group. The whole duration of treatment was 6 weeks. The results indicated that the total effective rate of the treatment group was 95.6%,and there was significant different from control group was80.0%(P<0.05).Discussion: According to clinical inspection and analysis,humid and heat sticking was the most common in these complicate presentations. The treatment principle is getting rid of wet and heat , regulating stomache and lowering the adverse flow of qi.Conclusion:QingHuaTang has a good clinical curative and long-term effect on Bile Reflux Gastrits,and has no observed side-effect,so it has clinical applicable value to some extent.Dr. Chen's experience in treating Bile Reflux Gastrits(BRG) is instructive and enlightening.
