Objectives:In order to investigate the relationship betweenhyperlipidemia and atherosclerosis the model of NewZealand white rabbits with hyperlipidemia will beestablished. The effect of advisor's experiencedprescription on blood lipids and atherosclerosis will beobserved from biochemical and pathological morphology,RIA detection of vasoactive substances and cytokines.And how the YiQiHuoXue prescription can reducingcholesterol and inhibit atherosclerosis will also beexplored. And it's effect of lipid-lowering will alsobe compared with the traditional Chinese medicineZhibituo and western medicine fluvastatin.Methods"Result in a hyperlipidemia animal model by a high-fatdiet fedding. TO explore the effect of YiQiHuoXueprescription on endothelial function throughbiochemical and RIA detection. Using HE staining andMasson staining to observe rabbit's aortic structuralchanges. Using precipitation to detect bloodcells' natural immune function. Using RT-PCR to detectthe amount of VCAM-1. Results:The model's lipid profile TC, TG, LDL-C weresignificantly increased and HDL-C was decreased.Histological sections showed a marked feature of plaqueformation and 6-Keto-PGFla in plasma decreasedsignifically than the normal group. But the content ofCRP, TXB2, ET increased than the normal group. VCAM-1 hada more reinforcement expression than the normal.RBC-C3bRR decreased while CIC increased significantly.All these indicatrixs have a significant differencecompared with the normal group. In the Chinese high-dosegroup, TC and LDL-C elevated slightly, CRP and ETincreased, RBC decreased and CIC levels increased. Therewas a significant difference compared with the modelgroup. All the changes in the Chinese herbal medicinemiddle dose group were not significantly different withthe high dose group. Chinese low-dose group did not showa significant difference but there are more to the goodtrend. Content of TXB2, ET, RBC-C3bRR, CIC and theexpression of VCAM-1 showed a statistics differencecompared with the high dose group (P<0.05). In theWestern control group, TC, LDL-C, 6-Keto-PGF1a, CIC didnot show a significant difference with the high dose ofChinese medicine group. While TG, HDL-C, TXB2, ET, VCAM-1,RBC-C3bRR CRP, RBC-ICR were statistically different(P<0.05).Conclusions:The use of YiQiHuoXue by lowering blood lipids,reducing the damage of the metabolic abnormalities to thevascular endothelial cell structure and function torestore endothelial function, inhibit the further development of plaque, prevent the adhesion ofinflammatory cells and inhibit the platelet aggregation.Then it can improve blood cells immune function, reducecirculating immune complexes, thereby stabilizingplaque. The development process will have been curbed andmitigation. It also showed a better future clinicalapplication.
