Results: (1)As determined from CBCL, The percentage of behavioral problems of the microtia was 21.3%in boys, which was higher than that of Chinese Norm(13.4%for boys, 12.5%for girls), the difference wasn't significant in statistics(P=0.103). The percentage of behavioral problems of the microtia was 6.7%in girls, and the difference wasn't significant in statistics(P=0.496) compared with Chinese Norm. There was no significant difference in statistics in the behavioral problems aspects between the microtia boys and girls. For microtia boys, there were significantly higher scores on social withdrawn, depression, compulsiveness and somatic complaints; as for girls, the main problems were compulsiveness, depression, somatic complaints et al. Both microtia boys and girls showed an internalizing behavior problem.(2) As determined from SCL-90, It is found out that the general scores and the number of positive items of the parents with microtia children are significantly higher than of the Chinese Norm, the difference was significant in statistics(P<0.01). Their parents had significant higher scores on compulsiveness, depression, anxiety, somatization, hostility, and horror than that of Chinese Norm, there was significant difference in statistics(P<0.01). (3) The level of CBCL scores has not significant corelation with that of SCL-90 scores. Conclusion: The percentage of psychosocial behavioral problems of the microtia children is higher than that of Chinese Norm, Both microtia boys and girls showed an internalizing behavior problem; their parents have certain psychological health problems as compulsiveness, depression, anxiety, somatization, hostility, and horror that should get more attention from mental health professionals.
