TCM cosmetology is one of the hottest spots in cosmetology.Uphold Nature,going back to tradition is the tendency of world Cosmetic nowadays.Our topic colleted 169 ancient pres criptions of TCM cosmetology and skin care,including Bei Ji Qian Jin Yao Fang(60),Qian Jin Yi Fang(55),Zhou Hou Fang(5),Wai Tai Mi Yao(6),Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang,Yu Yao Y uan Fang(6),Lu Fu Jin Fang(7),Xin Xiu Ben Cao(1),Suo Sui Lu(1),Yi Xin Fang(1),Ben C ao Gang Mu(1),Wan Bing Hui Chun(1) etc.We use analysis,induction and mathematical sta tistics to do some preliminary research on drug used characteristics and prescription-formulati ng principle.Thee results are as follows:We did statistical analysis and induction on collected antient cosmetic formula from thei r function,formulation,functional position and using method.Among 169 skin care formula,the re are 78 cosmetic formula,including141 kinds of drugs;51 curing formula,including 103 ki nds of drugs.Top 10 in drug use frequency are:BaiZhi,BaiFuzi,Pigtissue,Chuanxiong,Xixin,Fuli ng,Kuxingren,Baizhu,Yuzhu,Shexiang(Beauty type);Fuzi,Baizhi,Pig tissue,Ceboye,Leigongteng,Fa ngfeng,Mohanlian,etc.(hair care);Shihui,Baifan,Qingmuxiang,Machixian,Shuiyin,Ruxia ng(curing bromhidrosis).It shows that the commonly used drugs of cosmotology are BaiZhi, BaiFuzi,Pigtissue,Chuanxiong,Xixin,Fuling,Kuxingren,Baizhu,Yuzhu,Shexiang and with Donggua zi,Taoren and Shanglu,etc.when it relates to the skin care.Among 169 formula,the formulati on are maily powder(47) or ointment(43),etc.Covering 109 sorts of drugs the top 5 of pow der drugs are:Baifuzi,Baizhi,Baizhu,Kuxingren,Zaojiao,and the top 5 of ointment drugs are B aizhi,Pig tissue,Xinyi,Chuanxiong and Xixin.From the functional position,we found that the cosmetic formula mainly used on head and face,which use mostly these drugs:Baizhi,Baif uzi,Chuanxiong,Xixin,Pig tissue,etc.(face) Fuzi,Baizhi,Pig tissue,Ceboye,Leigongteng,Fangfen g,Xihuangcao,vinegar,etc.(head)Talking about the using method of cosmotology and skin care are smearing,applying and washing.There are 60 formula of applying,covering 92 drugs;54 formula of smearing,covering 126 drugs.One drug and one formula make the main function very clear,preparation very convinient,simple usage and refer to the researching direction of skin care products.There are31 one-drug prescription have simple,direct and clear aim worth y of concerning.Moreover,most of these one-drug prescription are high frequency drugs,whic h could anastomosis the most common used drugs of cosmetic formula.The statistical data shows that,antient cosmetic formula have characteristics like these:comparatively drug used,prescription-formulating principle could be followed,animal fat as basic solvent,skillfully use poisonous drugs.169 formula conclude 31one-drug prescriptions and 138 compound prescriptions,which made of only one-drug or even 54-drugs.The prescription-formulating principle not only accord with TCM compatibility of formula,but also have followed the characteristic of cosmotology and skin care formula.The animal solvent are Pig tissue,Sheep tissue,Bear tissue,Goose tissue,Horse tissue,Wild Goose tissue,Deer tissue and Ass tissue,etc.
