In the history of China's contemporary poem," the third generation " of poem movements (1984-1989) is another pioneer following the movements of misty poetry. Years from 1984 to 1989 is an transition period that great changes have taken place in chinese society, where the politics were " humid, hot "and " moist", open-up policy of economy was implemented, and " a period of great prosperity in aspects of ideology and culture after the " culture revolution " was reached. In one relatively open and free culture background," the third generation "of poem, which was not long-lasting really carried weights in poetics, and was also worthy of being illustrated in non-poetics field. So this dissertation aims at resurveying on it from both angles mentioned above and on the poets'lives after such movements as well as the track of their writing. This thesis mainly comes to describe "the third generation of poem from five aspects. In the introduction part, research on the concept of "the third generation of poem,it's earliest naming, and essential explanation of its emergence and evolution course comes first. Secondly, to analyze the reason of the third generation of poem's rise in the 1980s. Compared with the misty poetry and the pre-misty poetry, "the third generation of" poem came up with a great deal of new characteristics, but the most outstanding ones were revolting, opening, enlightenment, pioneering and non-government. At last,to comb current study on " the third generation of "poem since 1980s and propose my writing purpose and the innovation points of this thesis.A study on resource in poem is what chapter one focus on. This poem resources were mainly displayed in three aspects:First," the third generation of " poem's inherit and rebellion to the misty poetry, in which holds learning, absorb, refuse and surpass, the thesis has made a analysis in many aspects to this. Second, " the third generation of " poem's acceptance of modernism and post-modernism passively tangled with voluntarily.Third, " the third generation of " poem has its own era, namely, the social environment of various fields and thoughts tide in the 1980s may have exerted an important influence on the poets' creation too, this is its own resource embodiment.Chapter two is to explain "the third generation of "poem movements from perspective of culture type. As some poets and reviewers considered, the most important achievement of" the third generation of" poem movements perhaps was not their poem works, but the active spirit, thereafter the return to the poet's life in 1980s has a special meaning. Against the " moist" political backdrop in the 1980s, "the third generation of poet came on in way different from that of the misty poets in the " Culture Revolution ". We proceed with angle of culture, combine the text and some trifling matters of the poet's life to analyze the poet's change in mental attitude and unearth the origin of its common people's consciousness. In the back-end social atmosphere in the 1980s, " the third generation of " poet's subject consciousness began to be awakened, they not only generally publicize a kind of rebellion spirit in life but also reflected personal position of an obvious deconstructing in the creation, spoken language practices and independent stand.Chapter three involves an overall scanning to "the third generation of "poem. First, analyzing characteristics that" the third generation of" poem hold with from the tides having cultural leaning, like " holism ", " neo-traditionalism "," not doctrines "and so forth. While preceded with studying the western modernism poem, they begin by Chinese traditional culture and history, thus have written out the works with more historical sense than the misty poetry did. Second, investigate poem schools that have "stream of life" leaning, like "they ", "boorish fellow", "maritime", "city" poem etc. They wrote about the reality as a main coverage, picked up the lifelike material and created a living and popular style. Third, interpreting the women poem writing trends in the 1980s. From the awakening of body once was constrained, to the publicizing of sex consciousness, from "consciousness of night" to " the effect of close ones of the same sex ", the poets assumed the important task of consciously women writing with the purpose of displaying modern women's unique experience.Chapter four is to investigate "the third generation of "poem movements in terms of dissemination. "The third generation of" poem movements in the 1980s was characterized by the poet's experience of walking, gathering and wandering, they had the most direct way of spreading poem in the manner of drinking, reading aloud and sending letters, such a unique way of exchanging poem and life was exactly the " magnificent" spirit's embodiment. Besides reading aloud and the letters spreads, folk Poetry is the most important platform for poem publishing, the thesis combed the tradition of the poem non-governmental publication firstly, and then investigated non-governmental publication history, the idea and concrete shape of" the third generation of" poem. Third, issues of" the third generation of" poet, non-governmental publication valued most with printing the collection of poem, regular newspapers and magazines and books published, are important propagating forms that worth analyzing in the thesis.Chapter five analyzes the influence of "the third generation of poem movements and the writing transition of the poets. After 1989," the third generation of" poem movements, in the strict sense, moved to an end. with the arrival of market economy and consumptive society, the poets have their own choices when facing the economic tide, some plunged into the commercial sea, some choose to stay at the scene of the poem. The staying poets were once again divided into several types too, some switched to novels and prose, while poem-continuers encountered the problem as kept-on writing or shifting. The influence of "the third generation of "poem movements is finally depicted. The dual-influence, on the one hand went beyond the misty poetry, on the other hand overtaken by the "individualized writing " in 1990s and the later generations after 70s and 80s, and in such influence, positive ones and negative ones coexisted, the thesis makes multilayer analysis. In the concluding section, a summary on previous and current study of" the third generation of" poem is made, especially the weak points of it. Like declaration is greater than practice, theory is greater than text, "non-poem" is greater than poeticalness and so on, these defects,as for poets of the middle generation, generation after 70s and 80s and even poets to come, serves as warnings and at the same time shall exert an influence on their creation in the future.
