A Study On The Article-creating In The Commentary Of Zuo

The commentary of Zuo's creating poems and chanting songs meant that the poems in the commentary of Zuo recorded the activities in the Spring and Autumn Period.The creating skill of articles in Book of Songs has lost,but the skill of creating poems and chanting songs in the commentary of Zuo is well recorded.There are six cases of creating poems in the commentary of Zuo,among which “people”,“gallop”,“people of qin”,“bird” are completely recorded in “Book of Songs”and have a certain influence on the history of literature.The commentary of Zuo,inheriting the the tradition of “poem as history” from the pre-qin period,attached the four cases of creating poems to its creation background of historical events,which has a great influence on the interpretation of the later generations to the creating style,idea,content,and the spread of creating poems.The paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is about the concept,research significance and research status of article-creating.The activities of creating poems and chanting songs in Spring and Autumn period can be divided into two categories,“creating”and “recording”.The “creating” kind of chanting songs are new-created,and the “recording” kind of chanting songs are interpretation of existing poems.In the Spring and Autumn period,the meaning of chanting songs passed from the initial chanting songs-new poetry,to the existing poems.Creating articles was a key point of the spring-and-autumn activities' generation and transformation and it played a very important role from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Spring and Autumn Period.Compare to the poems in Book of songs,the commentary of Zuo had a detailed recording to the skills of creating poems.The current study of the commentary of Zuo is focused on the appreciation,comments,and the interpretation.There is no a concrete research for article-creating as a whole.The second chapter investigates the creation of “people” in the background of the marriage situation in the Spring and Autumn period.The interpretations to the “people” of previous dynasties were different,such as the saying of “sympathy”,“persuading”,“critic”,“reply”,and “praising”.However,the text exactly indicates people's praising to Qi-Wei marriage.The third chapter analyzes the disputes of previous dynasties scholars to whether the female character had returned to Wei country.The understanding of previous dynasties scholars to the poem depended mainly on the circumstances that the female writer created the poem.There are three kinds of view,“fail to return to Wei”,“return to Wei”,“to Qi in order to save Wei”.Due to the lack of creation background and the polysemy of words,the details are difficult to distinguish,but the poem reflects the reality of the sharp contradictions and struggle of emotion and laws,and shows the writer's love,wisdom,courage and knowledge.The fourth chapter sorts the thesis of the “people ”.The researchers had different views,such as “satirizing the monarch”,“satirizing the general”,“satirizing the people”,“people respecting the teacher”,“praising the general”,“praising the people” and “mother missing the son”.However,this paper argues that “people” should be a critic poem to the soldiers,the general,and the monarch.The fifth chapter inspects the creation of “bird” in the tradition of death at that time.The previous scholars had four different views,such as “satirizing the monarch”,“satirizing the monarch of different countries”,“against jun-ish”,“sad for good” when they interpreted the poem.But the theme is the same.As the first of the three poems,the view of “sad for good” had a great influence to the various scholars' interpretation to the poems.The sixth chapter comprehensively talks about the relation of the skills to create the poems and the interpretation to the article-creating of the future generations,the interpretation of mechanism and characteristics,the spread and influence of article-creating in future generations.The skill of creating poems,content,and the later interpretation about article-creating has exerted a significant influence.The interpretations to the skills of article-creating are different according to the influence of different social politics,cultural environment change.The influence of article-creating recorded in the commentary of Zuo to the future generations depends mainly on the text characteristics and the typical historical events.The conclusion part summarizes the contribution and significance of the whole research to the article-creating recorded in the commentary of Zuo.
