This study will also allow the opportunity for specialists to acquaint themselves with the channels of communication that contribute to a positive construction of the two images in the study population as well as building a superior mental picture. The researcher tried to attain a number of studies based on the subject, and selected the best studies related to the cultural and communication studies pertaining to the mental picture. The researcher selected studies from different countries such as the Peoples Republic of China, Western countries, and Arab countries. In view of what constitutes as a mental picture, especially in terms of importance towards the future relations between the Chinese and the Arabs, we did not notice any study in this aspect, therefore, the problem of research was to seek to know the nature of the mental image carried by the Chinese about the Arabs and vice versa. The difficult task to identify components and factors affecting the composition as well as to study the contributions of different communication channels (personal, collective, and public) in that image-building.This study aims to:* Study the concepts of the mental image based on the patterns, trends, and channels of communication that contribute to its construction. Also to examine its relationship to cultural contact and its means of educating people; also to prove how it impacts things like civilizations theory and analytical study.* To identify the reality of a mental image of the Chinese towards the Arabs, the mental image of the West towards the Chinese, and the channels of communication that contribute to the composition, and particularly the role of different communication channels to build these images between the Arabs and the Chinese field of study. The study questions were of two types:a special section the theoretical side and a special filed section. On the theoretical side, the researcher focused on the concept of cultural communication and the mental picture. The most important means of communication that contribute to building a mental picture are (in the offender filed questions mentioned below):1.) Through the collection of information, analysis and interpretation to draw implications or judgments thereon, the aim of this study is to know the mental picture of the interrelationship between the Chinese and the Arabs and the contribution of communication channels in order to build data on the suject and to also use data processing based on the reality of the research variables. The study of Quantitative Research relies mainly on the use of quantitative methods and statistical treatment of the question. The study is based on the use of a sample survey method to study population in order to identify the mental image of both of them and find out about other sources of construction on both sides. In light of the survey method, a survey approach was used as descriptive and analytical, the researcher tried to document the facts, realities, and the current trends attributed and characteristics of the population of the study through the sample studied. In order to answer questions the study and to achieve its central objectives, the survey analysis tried to seek reason, interpretation, and test the relationship between variables to draw explanatory inferences. The researcher uses this method to test the relationship between demographic variables of the study population as well as the relationship between the image-building reasons and the factors affecting positive and negative.Given the large community study, the researcher focused on three countries of the Arab states:Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Yemen.
