Study On Literary Activities And Literature Theory Of Cao Xuequan

This dissertation focuses on Literary activities and Literature theory of Cao Xuequan on late Ming. Cao Xuequan was a outstanding person on late Ming Parnassus, who had experienced Wan Li, Tian Qi, Chong Zhen three times. His literary activities and poetics produced certain effect in Parnassus on late Ming dynasty.About Cao Xuequan's literary activities of research, this dissertation mainly discusses from three aspects, namely, personal writings activities, leading the prosperity of Jin Ling's poetry, and rejuvenation of literature activities in Fujian Parnassus on late Ming.The discussion of Cao Xuequan's is mainly on different editions in Chinese libraries and Japanese libraries, according to the classification of Jing Shi Zi JI, and the different set locations. The prosperity of Jin Ling's Parnassus is the most important literary activity event about Cao Xuequan entering into the central Parnassus. Under the Nan Jing's regional little tradition and the realistic background of late Ming Parnassus, the paper describes the possibility about Cao Xuequan leading the prosperity of Jin Ling's Parnassus. And through careful study on fundamental literatures, the dissertation not only describes the quondam condition of the prosperity of Jin Ling's Parnassus, but also reveals the influence and status of Cao Xuequan on the Parnassus on late Ming. As the important leader of Fujian poetry school which is the one of regional poetry schools with longer history on Ming dynasty, Cao Xuequan engaged in representative of literary activities have arisen key role on the resurgence of Fujian poetry school. Based on the historical tradition of Fujian poetry school and the background of the late Ming Parnassus, the paper discusses Cao Xuequan's efforts for the resurgence of Fujian poetry school by establishing poetry clubs and revised the poetry theory of Fujian poetry school.About Cao Xuequan's literature theory, the paper primarily discusses the resurgence of FenYa of poetry ideal. CaoXuequan's literature activity always shows his literature theory,even so the paper discusses the problem from theory perspective. Firstly, the paper discusses Cao Xquan's poetics establishment by combining background of Parnassus in late Ming Dynasty, the history of Parnassus in province Fujian and the configuration of Cao Xuequan's knowledge. Secondly, the paper discusses contents of Cao Xuequan's poetics through establishment of theory of poem and practice, emphasizing the theory system in which Feng is the core. Cao Xuequan's poem accords with his poetics ultimately, so the paper analyses Cao Xueqan's poem in order to represent the character of Cao Xuequan's FengYa theory. Thirdly, the paper discusses significance and influence of Cao Xuequan's FengYa poetics.
