The Development Of The Newspapers And Periodicals And Modern Drama In The "Jia Yin Resurgence"

In the founding period of Chinese drama,Jia Yin Resurgence in 1914 is an extremely important existence.However,the academic circles have no in-depth study on this topic.It can be said that this is a blank spot in the early drama research.From the perspective of media,and based on the Shan Pao,the Modern Dramatic Magazine and the Flourishing Magazine during the second half of 1913 to the first half of 1915,this paper attempts to learn around the Modern Drama in Jia Yin Resurgence period.After the climax of the Revolution,the modern drama once from the heyday to the trough,which leads to a large number of opera gathering in Shanghai to seek a new way out.They update their ideas,rebuild the drama club,and explore the commercial drama mode.With the drama clubs competitions,the circles of modern drama in Shanghai show a vibrant prosperity,which known as Jia Yin Resurgence.With the prosperity of the show,the impact of the modern drama on the community gradually expanded.In the meantime,the media industry is also thriving.As China's longest and most influential primary newspaper,the Shan Pao frequently published drama commentary of the Modern Drama,which contributes to the development of the Modern Drama.In addition,as the first publication of Chinese drama,the Modern Dramatic Magazine published more than 70 scripts,drama commentaries and drama theories on the modern drama,which has a strong professionalism and research value.Through the profound summary and reflection on the modern drama in relevant period,the Flourishing Magazine have great significance on the development of the modern drama.Based on the statistics and analysis of the quantity,published frequency and content of the scripts,drama commentaries and drama theory on the Modern Drama published in these three newspapers and magazines,this paper try to determine the Jia Yin Resurgence's starting point to solve the academic issues left,from the drama text,stage performance and drama theory.Through these efforts,the study want as much as possible to fully restore the development of Jia Yin Resurgence,and try to use knowledge of communication to sum up and analyze the influence of newspapers and magazines on the development of modern drama in the period of " Jia Yin Resurgence ".The propaganda and recording function of newspapers and magazines promoted the spread of the modern drama,whose interaction and communication function provided the platform for the communication,and also the summary and reflection function promoted the development and prosperity of the modern drama.
