Zhang Shunhui's Word Study focused on Concise Annotation ofShuoWenJieZi, and one of this book's core is Word Family's study. The fruit of word famiy's study embodied in Concise Annotation of ShuoWenJieZi and HanYuYuYuanShengXi etc.This paper is about the annotation and study of ZhangShunhui's word family. I hope that we can get the good method about how to study Chinese Character and the right way to research Word Family and reveal the characteristic and achievement about Zhang Shunhui's Word Study. And this paper's final purpose is how to use this achievement to the study of ancient culture and ancient books and history, and make the word's study to a powerful weapon of many subject.The first part of this paper is a simple introduce to the behaves of Zhang Shunhui and his method of study. And this paper will use the footnote to sort out the lifetime of Zhang Shunhui and his wirtings.The second chapter of this paper is mainly about Zhang Shunhui's philology view. We can find this from his words study verywell. For example, Zhang Shunhui attached importance to ancient book's style, and applied it to explain the word's meaning; he attached importance to the philology part in the characters, and used the characters to testify history and explain ancient culture. When the senior Scholar studied Zhang Shunhui, they frequently ignored his philology view of the word study, and this paper will simply explain about it, afford the subject of discuss. This is a main part of the paper.The third part of this paper is mainly about the studying of Word Family by Zhang Shunhui's method.Zhang Shunhui studied the words meaning from livelihood, this is a distinguishing feature from other scholar. The ancient explaining about the text and character isn't the mainly part in the analysis of Zhang Shunhui. On the contrary, there are much of the explaining of characters through dialect or folk custom. Concise Annotation of ShuoWenJieZi embodied this everywhere. Furthermore, ShuoWenJieZi offered more the original meaning about the character than derivative meaning, this is a vantage point when Zhang Shunhui chosed ShuoWenJieZi as the research range. The next step about the study of etymology and word family should spread around ShuoWenJieZi, then should be the Sino-Tibetan language family or extraterritorial dialect. The main point about Zhang Shunhui's phonetics is the same-consonant's wide ranging using. I analysed the WuSheng XiangZhuan Sketch and the TongLei TongWei TongZhuan Table in the third part of the third chapter. This two is Zhang Shunhui's convenient tools which used in the phonetics analysis. When known about the QieYu about one word, we could check the charts and found the word's pronunciation, then we can compare it with other words. Through using this method, we can find that the word in the same word family will have the same consonant, and the final sound of Chinese syllable isn't much important. In the end of the third part of the third chapter, this paper used Zhang Shunhui's method to analyzed many group of word family which Meng Pengsheng and Yin Jiming had analyzed, through the comparation, we can find that Zhang Shunhui's method is concise, accurate and easy to manipulate.Through using the method of Zhang Shunhui, the fouth chapter choiced many group of word family to annotation and analysis, it checked all these words'meaning and pronounciation, most of them is correct. If there are more than four words in the word family, there will be a relationship map as the condution.The appendix of this paper summed up all the word family which HanYu YuYuan ShengXi had offered, and the word and its pages which appeared in Concise Annotation of ShuoWenJieZi. Which talked about ZhiYan or the Same Consonant, and a form of QieYu ShangZi Table. I hope that they should be useful material to later research.
