| YunlueXinChaoBianLan in Qing Dynasty is a rhyme book written by ZhouYunchi who from Shandong Yexian(now Laizhou). Writter wrote this book in1763in order to improve YunlueXinhuitong which wrote by his countryman BiGongchen. Yunluehuitong is an important rhyme book in Ming Dynasty,it has an important position in modern China phonology history.This thesis analysised the rhyme book,combined rhyme book with Laizhou dialect and other rhyme books.Then,constructed the rhyme book's voice system,determined the nature of it, and found that the change rule of language development.All these efforts provide detailed material for the research on Chinese ponology,Modern Chinese and Chinese dialect.Available phonetic materials of the two rhyme books are collecte in this thesis,which combined modern laizhou dialect material to find some rules of phonology in the process of language development, modern Chinese and system research, through the synchronic and diachronic comparison.This research is conducted on the basis of historical linguistics and methods dealing with Chinese phonology and Chinese dialectology are also used.Comparison is the chief method through the research.By Comparing with two rhyme books,this research find out their difference and explain the difference from modern Chinese and dialect.Moreover,some other rhyme books at the same time are also be used to compare with the two books in order to make sure their languistic circumstance. Some traditional ways are also used in analyzing ancient characters, the testifying of the material and the generalizing of the phonetic phenomenon.The research is conducted with an attitude of developmentanalyzing the material from various aspects,such as time and space.This thesis consists eight parts.Part one deals with the basic things about the rhyme book,including the writer and the writing process, style, etc. Detailed description of YunlueXinChaoBianLan and Yunluehuitong and introduced the main contents,theory and the research significance. Part two is the phonetic research of the rhyme book.Chief characteristics of initials are:Firstly,the separating or uniting of ZHI(知)group","ZHUANG(庄)groupand""ZHANG(ç« )group"initials.In rhyme book,"ZHI""ZHUANG"and"ZHANG"were united. It seemed to be divided into two kinds of conditions because of finals.Secondly,reseach the problems of palate, mix of rounded soud(团音)and shrp sound(尖音)Rounded soud(团音)and shrp sound(尖音)were not mixed in rhyme book."JIAN(è§)groupwas" divided.We can't surpose the appearance of palatal.Thirdly,"WU initial"had been prouounced like"YI initial"which is zero-initial.Fourthly,the pronunciation of "RI initial".It was prouounced "z"in rhyme book.Fifthly,full-voiced initals disappeared. Chief characteristics of fitials are:The separating of rhymes with "RU(å…¥)Tone"reflects the features of Laizhou dialect.1.The "HONG final"thyne with RU tone in "ZENG group"and"GENG group"were pronounced "ei""uei"identically.2.The RU tone charactes in "JUE(觉)rhyme"and "YAO(è¯)rhyme"were pronounced as "uo"3.The characeters of"JUE rhyme"and"YAO rhyme"were merged with the "XI finaP"characeters with RU tone in "SHAN(å±±).group".4.The characters of first-rank"GUO(æžœ)group"with"JIAN"system initials ande the characeters of"DUO(铎)rhyme"with "JIAN"system initals have both KAIKOU(å¼€å£)and HEKOU(åˆå£)。Furthmore,there are other characeteristics of the final:All of the cahracetsristics of second-grande"XIE group"with "JIAN"syetem are pronounced as "iai";The characeters of third-grada "TONG(通)goup"with "JING(ç²¾)"system initals and"LAI(æ¥)"initals are prouounced as "HONG final". The characeters with RU tone of TONG(通)goup" are pronounced as "u","肉"is pronounced as"iou".And the combinations of initial and final are not quite as same astoday's.The initial of "ZHI(知)group","ZHUANG(庄)groupand""ZHANG(ç« )group"and "RI inital"can combine with "XI finao"and the initial of labial can combine with both HEKOU and KAIKOU.Part three is the comparison of YunlueXinChaoBianLan and Yunluehuitong. Find t the difference between the two by detailed comparison.The musical difference of YunlueXinChaoBianLan:"v"initial disappeared, finals were adjusted;RU Stone followed YIN stone,PING stone was not divided into YINPING(阴平)and YANGPING(阳平),merging SHANG(上)stone with full-voiced initial into SHANG(上)stone.Part four is the comparison of YunlueXinChaoBianLan and Zhong YuanYin Yun, YunLueYiTong,YunLueHuiTong,WuFang Yuan Yin, Wan YunShu.Some development can be found by the comparison. The musical changes is:"v"and"n"initals disappeared, the lost of final [m]disappeared,CUOKOUHUi(æ’®å£å‘¼)y gradually formed.Three final groups"ZHISI(支æ€)"i,"QIWEI(é½å¾®)"ei/i/uei,"YUMU鱼模"u/iu in ZhongYuanYinYun changed to four groups "ZHIQI(支é½)""HUIWEI(ç°å¾®)''i/i,ei/uei,"JUYU(å±…é±¼)''y."HUMU呼模"u in YunlueXinChaoBianLan after oombineded and divided several times.Chapter5, is the comparison of YunlueXinChaoBianLan and modern LaiZhou dialect.Difference of rhyme book is "JIAN"group has not been divided, palatal t(?),t(?)',(?) didn't appear,"RI initial" was prouounced "z"but it was prouounced zero-initial and (?)r in Laizhou dialect.There are PING(å¹³),SHANG(上),QU(去),RU(å…¥)four stones in rhyme book while YINPING(阴平),YANGPING(阳平),SHANGSHENC(上声)three stones in dialect.Chapter6, determine the phonetic nature of rhyme book.From its background,the comparison with others dialect,we can infer that it reflects the common language in north Chian in the middle of the eighteenth century and also reflects the laizhou dialects characteristic.Chapter7, a list of homonyms table. |
