"A Course of Colloquial Chinese" is a Chinese textbook compiled by Russian S.N.Usoff(???? ?????? ??????????),whose phonetic appearance reflects the official Mandarin of Beijing in the 1930 s.This article focuses on the phonetic situation of Beijing Mandarin,which is reflected in A Course of Colloquial Chinese,summarizes its phonology,and explores the history of phonetic evolution of modern Beijing Mandarin through horizontal and vertical comparison.Secondly," A Course of Colloquial Chinese " is a very practical Chinese textbook.This article summarizes and analyzes its characteristics and useful elements in Chinese teaching,hoping to have a positive reference for the textbook writing and teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This article is mainly divided into four parts:The introduction part expounds the research status and significance of this article,research methods and literature sources,as well as a brief introduction to A Course of Colloquial Chinese and its authors.The first chapter studies several aspects of the 1930 s Beijing Mandarin phonetic system reflected in A Course of Colloquial Chinese.First of all,we research the Pinyin method used in "A Course of Colloquial Chinese ".This is the first thing that must be done to dissect the phonetic system.Then we summarize the initials,finals,tones system respectively,and sort out its phonological coordination,getting the general appearance of the phonology.Then,based on the valuable phonetic description of spoken Chinese in " A Course of Colloquial Chinese ",we analyze in turn the phonological changes and rhythms of the phonological changes.Among them,phonological inflections are discussed in terms of continuous reading intonation,childish inflections,and light sounds.In prosody,word stress and sentence stress are discussed.Finally,taking the example of the childization process of-u,-? vowels and u vowels,it shows the value of the corpus of "Introduction to Chinese" to study the evolution of the pronunciation of Beijing Mandarin.The second chapter is based on the phonetic research content of Chapter 1.We focus on the phonetic teaching of "A Course of Colloquial Chinese." We believe that " A Course of ColloquialChinese " strictly follows the teaching concept of "direct method" in selecting texts and arranging courses,but it also permeates some auxiliary and secondary methods.For example,in the textbook,in addition to focusing on language teaching,it also uses A small amount of text introduces some pronunciation methods and pronunciation parts.In addition to the large-scale mechanical conversation practice,the text also pays attention to the combination of meaningful and conversational practice.In addition to reading Pinyin and familiarizing conversations,students are also recommended to use contrastive translation methods to deepen their understanding of the meaning of sentencesand so on.The last part is a summary of the above contents,and it is also summarized from the two aspects of the phonetic system and phonetic teaching of Introduction to Chinese.
