Research On The Leshan Dialect Phonetic System Of Sichuan

Sichuan dialect belongs to the s?uthwest mandarin of Chinese,and it occupies an important position in the Chinese dialect partition,which had got the attention of many experts and scholars.At present,Sichuan dialect partition are divided into Chengyu Area and Guanchi Area.Chengyu Area is represented by Chengdu and Chonging dialect;Guanchi Area mainly gathered in the Min River area,which is represented by Leshan dialect.In ancient times,there have been several large-scale immigration.Due to the influence of immigrant dialects,the old Sichuan dialect has bee changed a lot: the Ru tone of th ancient ba-shu language has been classified into the Yangping tone,and the new sichuan dialect is made up of the local language and the immigrant dialect,which commonly known as "HuGuang dialect",it is also the chengdu-chongqing dialect now.Leshan dialects are mainly distributed in the area west of Min River basin,and it largely retained the ancient ba-shu language characteristic of Ru tone,which is the result of the immigrants didn't mass in leshan with the block of the m?utains and rivers in the acient times.Min River is an important waterway for people go in and ?ut of the sichuan basin in s?uthwest area,so the dialect of Min River was called “Nan Lu dialect”,and Leshan dialect is its representative dialect.Leshan dialect is different from Chengdu and Chonging dialect,it has its own unique characteristics in initials,finals and tone,and which has made Leshan dialect become an unique geographic communicative language of Sichuan dialect.This article applies the theory of linguistics and dialectology,and on the basis of field investigation and voice analysis,we w?uld systematically describe the leshan dialect system.In addition,this paper will compare Leshan dialects phonetic system with mandarin and ancient phonetic system,in order to highlights its unique phonetic characteristics from the synchronic and diachronic perspective.And we will based on the relevant theory of geography,phonetics and historical linguistic the scribing,and analyse the reason of its internal differences and its formation.In this paper,in addition to the replacement leshan's history,geography condition,elaborated the significance of this research and the present situation,it mainly analyze the following five questions: First,describing leshan dialect's initials,finals and tone system,and offer voice analysis maps as evidences.Second,coparing the leshan dialect and mandarin synchronic,to find ?ut the changed characteristics and regularity,which c?uld providing reasons for exploring the difference between the old and new dialect;Third,comparing the leshan dialect and ancient phonetic system,aiming to reveal the historical evolution;F?urth,using the current phonetic features and geological history status to scribe the leshan dialect area,and draw the partition map,describing the difference between the old and new dialect,and find ?ut the internal regional differences.Fifth,combining with the investigation materials and geological history,analyze the root cause of the difference.
